[Detailed Description of the Invention] The present invention relates to a terminal device that has various advantages over conventional devices, such as being able to easily perform branch connections by stacking terminal devices. For example, when attempting to branch connect another circuit by extending a leader wire from each of a plurality of coated wires connected between two electric circuits, conventionally, for example, the schematic perspective view shown in FIGS. 1a and 1b, and the A terminal device as shown in the cross-sectional view taken along line A-A' is used. This is an insulating case 1 in which a required number of connection fittings 2 each having a plate portion in which, for example, two slits 2a and 2b are provided in parallel, are arranged and fixed in the horizontal direction. Then, as shown in the connection diagrams shown in FIGS. 2a and 2b, for example, the wires W a and W b are press-fitted into the slits 2 a and 2 b of each connection fitting 2 using an insulating cover equipped with a wire presser (not shown). As a result, incisions are made in the wire sheathing by the both edges of the slits 2a and 2b, and the both edges are brought into strong contact with the core wire by the spring force of the slits 2a and 2b, thereby making a branch connection. According to this, by increasing the number of slits,
Many lines can be branched by connecting fittings. In addition to the above-mentioned branch connection, for example, as shown in Figure 2c, multiple wires can be connected in parallel by press-fitting the wires W a and W b , and the connection operation is similar to conventional soldering. It is much simpler than terminal devices that are attached or screwed together. However, since this terminal device has a structure in which the wires W a and W b are connected on the same plane by the connecting fittings, the more the number of branch connection wires, the longer the connecting fittings 2 provided with the slits. The length of the terminal device becomes longer, and the length of the terminal device also becomes longer. Therefore, for example, the length of the mounting portion of an electronic circuit device must be correspondingly long, which tends to be subject to restrictions on use. Furthermore, even if a connecting terminal 2c is provided at the lower end of the connecting fitting 2 as shown in FIG. varies depending on the number of branch connection lines W b ,
This is larger than in the case of only the line W a . Therefore, when connection patterns are provided at small pitches within a certain width, such as in printed wiring boards with particularly high packaging density, it is necessary to create a terminal device with connection terminals arranged at a pitch that matches the pitch. It's difficult. The present invention eliminates the shortcomings of conventional devices by providing a terminal device that can easily branch and connect any number of wires at a required pitch and requires a short installation length. Next, the details will be explained using the drawings. Fig. 3 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the connecting fitting according to the present invention, Fig. 4 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the terminal device of the present invention, and Fig. 5 is a sectional view showing the connection procedure, which is a feature of the present invention. is in the following points. That is, as shown in FIG. 3, the lower end is connected at right angles to the first plate part 3A, which has the connecting fitting 3 , the connector 3a at the lower end, and the opening slit 3b for wire connection at the upper end.
The second plate part 3B is formed with a notch 3c at the upper end and a counter contact 3d for inserting the connector 3a of the mating terminal device (3A in the upper part of the figure). Then, the connecting fitting 3 is placed inside the insulating case 4 as shown in FIG. 4 and FIG.
d and the connector 3a are fixed so as to protrude to the outside to form a terminal device unit 5 , which is arranged in numbers corresponding to the number of branches, e.g. 5A , 5B , 5, as shown in FIG.
By stacking the three pieces C while inserting the connector 3a into the contact 3d, the terminal device can be attached to the connected wire W a by press-fitting into the slit 3b of the terminal device unit 5A , as shown by the dotted line in the figure. Unit 5B , 5C
The branch wires Wb, which are press-fitted into the respective slits 3b and connected, are connected in the vertical direction. In Figures 4 and 5, 4a is a hole for protruding the connector (see Figure 5), 4b is a wire guide plate, and 4 is a wire guide plate.
b' is a wire guide groove, 4c is a connector guide plate, 4c' is a guide groove thereof, and 4d is a partition wall. Further, 4e is a first regulating body at the stacking position, and 4f is a second regulating body at the stacking position, which is provided in a different shape from the first regulating body 4e. 4g is the second regulator insertion hole;
It is provided at the lower part of the regulating body 4e. Reference numeral 4h denotes a first regulating body insertion hole, which is provided below the second regulating body 4f, and these first and second regulating bodies, each insertion hole, etc. have the following functions. That is, the connecting fitting 3 of the present invention has the second plate part 3B provided on one side of the first plate part 3A, and is not symmetrical. Therefore, as shown by dotted lines in FIG. 5, each unit 5A , 5B , 5C
When stacked so that the second plate part 3B is located on the right side of each first plate part 3A, the unit 5A
The unit 5B stacked on top is shifted to the right with respect to 5A , and the unit 5C is further shifted to the right and stacked diagonally, resulting in instability. Therefore, in order to prevent this, the second plate part 3 of the unit 5A is
When B is on the right side of the first plate part 3A, the second plate part 3B of the unit 5B is located on the left side of the first plate part 3A, and the second plate part 3B of the unit 5C is on the right side of the first plate part 3A. To do this, stack unit 5A and unit 5B in a 180° opposite direction, and also stack unit 5B in a 180° opposite direction, that is, unit 5.
It is necessary to stack them in the same direction as A. First,
The second regulating bodies 4e, 4f, insertion holes 4g, 4h, etc. are designed to easily determine the direction of the unit, and the first and second regulating bodies 4e, 4f of the unit 5A are
Insertion holes 4h, 4 of the first and second regulating bodies of unit 5B
By selecting the directions so that they fall within g and superimposing them, the directions are automatically determined. In this case, the connecting fitting 3 is fixed to the insulating case 4 so that the outer walls of each stacked unit form the same plane. Further, if necessary, a lid may be placed over the topmost terminal device unit, and a sixth hole for press-fitting the wire W into the slit 3b may be placed on the inner surface of the lid.
A line press-fitting body 6 as shown in the perspective view shown in the figure may be provided, and the lid may also be used as a line press-fitting tool. As described above, in the present invention, branch connections are made by stacking terminal device units in the vertical direction, and connections are not made on the same plane as in conventional devices. Therefore, any number of branch wires W b can be connected to the line W a while maintaining the arrangement pitch of the connecting fittings 3 to the insulating case 4 , which is selected based on the size of the connecting fittings and their arrangement spacing. As a result, unlike the conventional device, as the number of branch lines increases, the length of the connecting fittings 3 in the arrangement direction increases, and the length of the terminal device does not increase. Further, in the present invention, as described above, the arrangement pitch of the connecting fittings can be freely changed by selecting the size of the connecting fittings and the arrangement interval. Therefore , for example, as shown by the dotted line in FIG .
When used by soldering to the connection pattern of a printed wiring board, even if the arrangement pitch of the connection pattern is small, it is possible to provide a terminal device with connection terminals of a corresponding pitch. The range of application can be widened. Further, in the present invention, in FIG. 5, for example, when branching by the terminal device unit 5C becomes unnecessary, the request for disconnection can be easily met by pulling it out from the unit 5B . Furthermore, when branching by unit 5B becomes unnecessary, the request for disconnection can be easily satisfied by removing unit 5B and connecting unit 5C to 5A. In addition, in the present invention, two contacts 3d of the connecting fitting 3
protrudes outside the insulating case 4 , and the insertion ports for the mating connectors 3a of the contacts 3d are all open upward. Therefore, for example, if you want to connect all the two connecting fittings 3 that have been separately branched as shown in Fig. 7, you can use connectors on both sides as shown in the perspective view shown in Fig. 8. It is sufficient to make a U-shaped short-circuiting piece 7 provided with a short-circuiting piece 7a, and insert it astride the contact 3d of the terminal device unit 5C in the uppermost stage, as shown in FIG. Further, by providing a wire connection slit 7b in each connector 7a of the shorting piece 7, a temporary branch connection can be made, for example. Furthermore, in the above description, an example was explained in which two connecting fittings were fixed in the direction of connection of the wires, but it goes without saying that the number of connecting fittings may be one or any number of fittings. As is clear from the above explanation, according to the present invention, branch connections can be made with simple operations, and at the same time,
It is possible to provide a terminal device that has various advantages such as short length, and is highly effective in practical use.
