Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 画像形成装置本体に着脱自在な感光体ドラムを
    含む画像形成ユニツトに対し該画像形成ユニツト
    が未使用であるか使用済であるか及び前記画像形
    成装置本体への装着の有無を検知する検知機構に
    おいて、 前記画像形成ユニツトに設けられ、前記未使用
    の画像形成ユニツトの装着後、画像形成装置の運
    転に伴つて移動する移動部材と、前記画像形成装
    置に設けられ前記移動部材との当接により信号を
    出力する単一の検知部材と、前記検知部材の信号
    に基づいて前記画像形成ユニツトが未使用である
    か使用済であるか及び前記画像形成装置に対する
    前記画像形成ユニツトの装着の有無を判別する判
    別手段とを備えたことを特徴とする画像形成ユニ
    ツトの検知機構。
