Abstract

PURPOSE:To contrive enhancement in strength and enhancement in appearance, in the connection structure of a shelf which is assembled by pillars and a shelf plate, by making a double construction having inner and outer side plates of each side plate of an angle-shaped pillar, and forming engaging holes in the inner side plate, and also forming projections to be engaged therewith on the angle-shaped connecting part of the shelf plate at four corners. CONSTITUTION:On the side outer plate 5A and longitudinal outer plate 5B of an angle-shaped pillar 1, a side inner plate 6A and a longitudinal inner plate 6B are formed respectively so as to be of a double construction. And connection holes 9A, 9B are provided in the respective inner plates 6A, 6B. On the other hand, on the supporting plates 12A, 12B of an angle-shaped connecting member 10 for fitting a top shelf plate 2 to the pillar 1, a pair of upper and lower engaging projections 14A, 14B are formed so as to be capable of being engaged with the connection holes 9A, 9B of the pillar 1. And an engaging recessed part 21 and an engaging claw 22 are formed on the arm plate 13A and on the arm plate 13B respectively, and they are engaged with the reinforcement recessed part 28 and the hole 30 in the top shelf plate 2. By this constitution, appearance and strength can be enhanced.
