ミツク触媒担体を配置し、これ等の半割部材の両
側に形成されたフランジ部同士を合わせて前記半
割部材を相互に固着すると共に、前記セラミツク
触媒担体の外周に、環状シール部材及び外周緩衝
部材を隣接して被嵌してなる触媒コンバータにお
いて、前記半割部材に形成されるフランジ部同士
の合わせ部と前記環状シール部材の外周との間に
、合わせ部シール部材を配置すると共に、この合
わせ部シール部材に、前記外周緩衝部材に係止さ
れる係止部を設けてなることを特徴とする触媒コ
