Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve reproducing output by suppressing crosstalk by providing second magnetic cores on both side planes of a first magnetic core via a nonmagnetic layer, a first coil which interlinks with both the first and second magnetic cores, and a second magnetic coil which interlinks with the first magnetic core. CONSTITUTION:The second magnetic cores 2 and 2' are provided on both side planes of the first magnetic cores 1 and 1' via the nonmagnetic layers 3 and 3', and two confronting planes which form the recording and reproducing gap of the second magnetic core are provided on the same plane of the two confronting planes which form the recording and reproducing gap of the first magnetic core. Furthermore, the first coil which interlinks with both the first and second magnetic cores, and the second coil which interlinks with only the first magnetic core are provided. Thereby, since track width can be increased when write is performed, and the track width can be decreased when readout is performed, and recording width 15 for a recording medium 12 can be widened, no lowering of output occurs even when the deviation of a track position is generated in a readout operation. るトラックの磁束10も少なくなり、再生出力が低下す
