Abstract

PURPOSE:To reuse a process cartridge only by detaching a developing device with a liquid developer supply opening and supplying a developer even when the developer in the developing device runs out and to reduce the running cost by constituting the developing device detachably from the process cartridge. CONSTITUTION:The developing device 2 is supported by fitting the fulcrum 9 of a support member 8 and the fulcrum 10 of the developing device 2 on the right and left by a support pin 13. The support pin 13 has a coil spring 12 and a pin 11. When the developer in the developing device 2 runs out, the right and left support pins 13 are pulled out and the developing device 2 is taken away from the support member 8. Then a cap closing the developer supply opening 5 is removed and then a developer can be supplied. Consequently, the process cartridge is reused only by supplying the developer and the running cost is reduced.
