Description
本発明は、回路基板など被装着体に部品を装着実装する

着させ、このようにツール6に部品4を保持させた状態
でツール6を上動させると共にさらに横方向へ移動させ
て被装着体5の所定位置まで部品4を移動させ、この後
にツール6を下動させて部品4を被装着体5の所定箇所
に装着実装するようにしである。
ここで、ツール6は装着装置本体7に取り付けて使用さ
れるものであり、プログラム制御などすることによって
装着装置本体7を作動させて上記のようにツール6を自
動的に上下動させたりして、部品4の装着実装を自動的
におこなうようにしている。そして部品4の大きさや形
態などに応じて種々のツール6を使い分ける必要があり
、各ツール6をツールホルダー1に収容して配置してお
き、装着する部品に合わせてツール6を装着装置本体7
に取り替えるようにしている。すなわち第5図に示すよ
うに、ツールホルダー1には上面で開口する複数の収容
穴11が穿設してあり、装着装置本体7を下動させて装
着装置本体7の下部に取り付けたツール6を収容穴11
に挿入し、次にこのツール6に対する装着装置本体7の
保持を解除してツール6を収容穴11に残したまま装着
装置本体7を上動させ、さらに他の収容穴11に収容し
たツール6の位置まで装着装置本体7を横移動させると
共に下動させることによってこのツール6を装着装置本
体7に取り付けるようにするのである。第5図において
12はツール6を装着装置本体7の先端取付部13の取

装置本体7の保持を解除し、ツール6を収容穴11に残
したまま装着装置本体・7を上動させるようにするので
あるが、保持の解除の状態が不十分なときにはツール6
が装着装置本体7に付いたまま装着装置本体7が上動さ
れることがあり、ツールホルダー1へのツール6の収容
が確実になされないおそれがあるという問題もある。
本発明は上記の点に鑑みて為されたものであり、ツール
の下端面に傷が付くおそれなく容易にツールホルダーに
ツールを収容することができ、しかもツールホルダーへ
のツールの収容を確実におこなうことができる部品装着

ツール6は第2図に示すように円筒状体で形成されるも
のであって、その下端に下面に吸引口を設けた吸着部1

出させて設けである。鍔部8は平面視で#I長路四角形
に形成されるものであり、その長子側の側面には切欠部
22が設けである。
このツール6は上部の取付部18を装着装置本体7の先
端取付部13に差し込んで前記したようにボール12な
どで係合保持させることによって、VC装着装置本体に
下方へ突出するように取り付けられるものである。一方
、ツールホルダー1にはその上面と両側面とに開口する
ように縦方向の収容スリット2が形成してあり、さらに
この収容スリット2に各内面において連通し且つツール
ホルダ−1の両側面に開口するように係止凹所3.3が
形成しである。従ってツールホルダー1には収容スリッ
ト2と係止凹所3とで側面視略十字形の穴が形成される
ことになる。また一方の係止凹所3の奥部にツールホル
ダー1の内外に連通するボール収納孔19が穿設してあ
ってこのボール収納孔19内にストッパー用ボール20
が収容してあり、このボール20はツールホルダー1の
外面に取り付けたストッパー用押さえばね21で押圧し
である。このように形成されるツールホルダー1は複数
個を並列して配置しである。
しかして、装着装置本体7に取り付けたツール6を取り
替えるにあたっては、まず装着装置本体7を作動させて
第2図のa矢印のようにツール6を水平移動させ、ツー
ルホルダー1の側方から第1図(a)及V第3図に示す
ようにツール6を収容スリット2内に挿入させると共に
ツール6の鍔部8を係止凹所3に挿入させる。このよう
にツールホルダー1の側方がらツール6を挿入するため
に、ツール6と収容スリット2の位置合わせが若干狂っ
ていても、ツールホルダ−1の側面にツール6の側面(
特に鍔部)が当たるだけで、部品4を吸着すル面である
ツール6の下端面がツールホルダー1に当たって傷付く
ようなおそれはない。またこのようにツール6を収容ス
リット2に挿入させると、第1図(a)に図示するよう
にばね21で押圧されたボール20がツール6の鍔部8
の側面の切欠部22に弾接し、収容スリット2内でのツ
ール6の位置決めがなされる。次にツール6に対する装

矢印(第2図のb矢印)のように装着装置本体7を上動
させると、@1図(b)のようにツール6がツールホル
ダー1に残されたまま装着装置本体7はツールホルダー

せることができる。このとき、ツール6の鍔部8は係止
凹所3内に係止された状態にあるため、装着装置本体7
を上動させる際に装着装置本体7からツール6が抜けず
にツールホルダー1の上方へツール6が外れてしまうよ
うなことを防止することができる。そして第1図(b)
の矢印(第2図のb矢印)のように装着装置本体7を横
移動させて、他の?ノール6を収容しているツールホル
ダ−1の上方位置まで移動させ、さらに第1図(e)の
矢印(第2図のb矢印)のように装着装置本体7を下動
させてこのツール6の取付部18を装着装置本体7の先
端取付部13内に被挿させて、このツール6を装着装置
本体7に取り付ける。この後に装着装置本体7を水平移
動させて第2図のC矢印のようにこのツール6をツール
ホルダー1の収容スリット2がら抜き出し、第4図のよ
うに部品4を吸着して被装着体5に装着実装する作業に

ダーへのツールの収容を容易におこなうことができるも
のであり、またツールを収容スリットに挿入させるとツ
ールの鍔部は係止凹所内に係止されることになり、ツー
ルが装着装置本体に付いたまま装着装置本体が上動され
るようなおそれがなく、ツールホルダーへのツールの収
