Roofs covered with flat tiles such as asbestos cement tiles and glass fiber-reinforced cement tiles tend to lack a sense of solidity due to the thinness of each roofing material and the monotonous linear pattern of the roofing. In order to eliminate such defects, as shown in Figure 1A, slit-like cuts B, B are made in the lower side A of the planar shape toward the upper side, parallel to the side C. One or more (usually two) are provided in the slit, or steps H(1) and H(2) are provided on the lower side divided by the slits, as shown in Figure 1B. In some cases, the roofing pattern is given variability.

If the tile and the slit-like cut B intersect, the flat tile R will be disassembled, making it very difficult to install the roof, and even after construction, the disassembled piece R' will tend to shift and cause rain leaks. Something happened.

In addition, since diagonally cut pieces of flat tiles are generally unavoidable at the ridge of a roof,
In order to make these roofs completely waterproof, as shown in Figure 3, we installed a sill G on the roof board F along the ridge.
G is installed, flat tile R (including cut pieces) is attached to this, and ridge decorative board J, J, row of trees K, K are placed on top of this.
After arranging the ridge panels as shown in the diagram, finishing was done by covering them with the ridge covering material M. However, in this construction procedure, all the components placed above the ridge decorative board J are finished after the roofing is completed. During this process, care had to be taken to prevent the flat tiles from cracking, resulting in a drawback that the construction was time-consuming.

In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present invention aims to provide a method for roofing roof roofs that does not generate cut pieces even when using flat tiles provided with slit-like cuts, and that can be easily constructed. flat tiles, which have been laid in a horizontal row on both roof surfaces facing the ridge line of the ridge, and the distance between the ridge line and the side edge of the flat tile is smaller than the working width of the flat tile. The thickness of the flat tile is approximately the same as that of the flat tile.
And, arrange corner ridge boards whose ridge line side sides are cut along the ridge line, and match the corner ridge boards on the ridge line so that the lower edges of the corner ridge boards are aligned on the same line. After adjusting to both corner ridge boards,
This method is characterized in that a ridge corner accessory having a folded part that fits with the lower ends of the ridge board at both corners is fitted to the lower end and arranged along the ridge line.

Place a flat tile 1 as shown in Figure 5 on the part where
A corner ridge board 4 with approximately the same thickness as , cut along the ridge line 2A with the side 4A shown by a chain line is placed, and the corner ridge board 4 is placed on the ridge line 2A. After abutting and adjusting so that the lower edges 4B of the corner ridge boards are aligned on the same line, a folded part 5B that extends over both the corner ridge boards 4, 4 and fits into the lower end 5A of both corner ridge boards 4, 4 lower end 4B. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 5, the corner ridge board 4 has a rectangular shape whose shape before cutting is equal to the height and width of the flat tile 1. However, the present invention is not limited to this. As shown in Fig. 4B and Fig. 6, the shape of the corner ridge board 4 before cutting may be the same size as the flat tile 1 without slit-like cuts, and further, as shown in Fig. 7. In this way, a tile having a width that is an integral multiple of the division width Q of the flat tile 1 divided by slit-like cuts and the same height as the flat tile 1 may be used.

Since this invention is configured as described above,
When cutting a flat tile along the ridge line, it is sufficient to cut the corner ridge board without directly cutting the flat tile, which prevents the roofing material from splitting due to the slit-like cuts, and prevents the roofing material from splitting due to the slit-like cuts. The waterproofness of the roof has become very good, and the level of the corner ridge board along the lower ridge can be adjusted to a certain level within the width of the roofing allowance of the flat tiles placed on the roof. This makes the roofing work much easier compared to roofing the entire lower ridge with flat tiles, and the ridge corner can be used to waterproof the lower ridge. The roof roof can be constructed without any need for materials such as bridges or rows of trees, and since the exposed surfaces of the flat tiles and the corner ridge board are on the same surface, the roof is very clean and beautiful. It has a good appearance, and since the corner ridge board can be cut into short pieces using the alignment marks and used as a starter, it can also be used in conjunction with other roofing materials. It has an economical effect.
