Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a container for which a knitted or woven object with natural fiber is used and which is light-weight, easy to handle, also strong against an impact and hard to break by providing a synthetic resin layer on the outer surface side and providing a glass fiber layer which is adhesive-bonded by a synthetic resin on the inner surface side. CONSTITUTION:A drum part 1 of this container is equipped with a tube shaped bamboo knitted body 11 which is made by knitting a narrow thin plate shaped bamboo by an entwining-twill pattern. On the outer surface side of the bamboo knitted body 11, a transparent epoxy resin is applied to form a resin layer 12. Also, on the inner surface side of the bamboo knitted body 11, a cloth of glass fiber is adhesive-set by a resin to form a glass fiber layer 13. By doing this, the strength of the container drum part 1 is increased, and the water tightness is also insured. At the upper opening part of the container drum part 1, a closing lid 2 which is made by mixing a synthetic resin as a main component, calcium carbonate, quartz sand and bamboo chips as an aggregate. At the lower opening part of the container drum part 1, a container bottom 3, which is made of a synthetic resin with the same composition as the closing lid 2, is attached.

Detailed Description of the Invention [Field of Industrial Application] The present invention relates to a container and a method for manufacturing the same, and more particularly to a container using a knitted or woven fabric of natural fibers such as bamboo or rope, and a container using a knitted or woven fabric of natural fibers such as bamboo or rope. This relates to a manufacturing method. [Prior art and its problems] Traditionally, bamboo pieces have been knitted to produce tasteful vases, tea vases, sake bottles, and the like. They have a structure in which knitted bamboo pieces are adhered to a glass bottle or a metal cylinder with a bottom using an adhesive or the like.

(1) If bamboo pieces are simply knitted together, water will leak and the container cannot function as a container. For this reason, as described above, a bottle or cylinder is used as a container, but if a bottle or cylinder is used, the whole becomes heavy and difficult to handle, and is not suitable for portable use. Also, if the container is a glass bottle etc.
Weak against impact and easily damaged.

(2) Bamboo pieces are organized to match the external shape of existing glass containers and metal containers. For this reason, it has not been possible to create bamboo strip products with new designs that are not limited by the shape of the container. Of course, the above problems could be solved if glass containers or metal containers were specially ordered and manufactured, but this would be too costly and would be difficult to commercialize.

Reference numeral 1 is the body of the container, and the bamboo knitted body 1 is formed into a cylindrical shape by forming bamboo into a thin plate shape and knitting it into a cylindrical shape.
1. A transparent epoxy resin is applied to the outer surface of the bamboo knitted body 11 to form a resin layer 12 (shown in FIG. 2). Note that an unsaturated polyester resin can also be used instead of the epoxy resin. Since the epoxy resin is transparent, the tightness pattern of the bamboo knitted body 11 can be seen from the outside through the resin layer 12.

■ After wrapping the bamboo knitted body 11 in a container shape (not shown) that has an appropriate shape as needed, such as a cylindrical, square prism, or triangular prism, the surface of the bamboo knitted body 11 is coated with epoxy resin or unsaturated polyester resin. Then, the bamboo knitted body 11 is solidified. This forms the original shape of the container body 1 that matches the shape of the container mold.

The container includes a container body 1, a closure lid 2, and a container bottom 3, each of which is glued together, and the container body 1 is attached to a bamboo knitted body 1.
Since the resin layer 12 and the glass fiber layer 13 are provided on the outer and inner surfaces of the container 1, sufficient watertightness as a container can be ensured. In addition, unlike conventional glass bottles, etc., covered with bamboo rope, it is lightweight because no glass bottle is required, and since bamboo pieces and glass fiber are laminated, it is resistant to impact and does not easily break. .
