向に一列の発熱素子を有する長尺物のサーマルヘ
ツドと、前記サーマルヘツドの基板に取付けられ
た放熱フインと、この放熱フインと対向して設け
られた冷却フアンと、前記プラテンローラに対し
てサーマルヘツドを接離自在に支持する支持部材
と、を備えたサーマルプリンタにおいて、前記支
持部材の前記放熱フインの端部と対向する箇所が
開口すべく、支持部材をサーマルヘツドと逆方向
に折曲し、この折曲部にて、前記冷却フアンを固
