【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は付加価値を高めたカード及びカード処
理装置に関する。

従来のキヤツシユカード、クレジツトカード等
にはキーボードが備えられておらず、外部装置の
キーボードを使用せざるを得なかつた。一方、小
型電卓は次第に薄くなり、キーボードの薄型化も
可能になつた。本発明は以上の点に鑑み、キヤツ
シユカードなどに入力手段を取り付け、暗号入力
をできるように構成し、更にそれをカード処理装
置に出力しうるカードを提供するものである。

第1図は本発明の一実施例に係るカードCDの
斜視図で、LCは液晶表示器、KBはキーボード、
ALはアラームであり、キヤツシユカード、クレ
ジツトカードとほぼ同じ厚さ及び可撓性を有し、
電卓機能も有する。第2図はその裏面にして、キ
ヤツシユカード、クレジツトカードと同様にその
所有者を特定化する暗号部Mが磁気インクその他
の周知技術で設けられる。このM部を第3図の如
き読み取り装置Rのヘツド部RHで解読し、また
キーボードKBから端子C1,C2,H1,H2
等を介して読み取り装置Rに所有者自身しか知ら
ない情報を与える。これによりカードの所有者を
特定化でき、不正使用を防止できる。読み取り装
置Rが正しいと認定すると、キヤツシユカードで
あるときは現金が支払われる。このとき支払い金
額をキーボードKBから入力させることもでき
る。またカードCD内の現在預金額記憶メモリか
ら支払い額を差し引いておけば、使用者はメモリ
呼出しキーの操作によりいつでも、どこでも現在
高を表示器により確認でき好ましい。また計算も
できる。第4図は第2図のM部を特別設けず、液
晶表示器LCからの表示内容を読み取るように構
成したキヤツシユカードの例である。銀行等の現
金支払機の読み取り装置RにカードCDを装填し、
キーボードKBから自己の生年月日等の暗号コー
ドその他必要なキー操作を施すと、カードの挿入
もしくはキー操作を読み取り装置Rが検出してラ
ンプLを点灯し、反射型もしくは透過型液晶表示
器LCの内容を読み取る。また次のキー操作等を
周知の対話型デスプレイDSP等により知らせる。
前述同様に支払額をキーボードKBより入力さ
せ、種々の条件を満足したことを第5図のCPU
が認定した場合、要求された金額を支払う。また
このとき計算回路部CAL内の預金残高格納メモ
リから今回の支払い額を端子C1,C2,H1,
H2等を介してCPUが差し引いておく。したが
つて残高の確認が前述のように容易に、どこでも
確認できる。またクレジツトカードとしても使用
でき、いずれも引き出し額がオーバのときはアラ
ームALを作動させて警告する。このアラームは
定期購入時期が近づいたとき作動させても良い。
定期券の場合、本実施例に係るカードを自動定期
発行所の読み取り装置に装填し、必要な金額を貨
幣読み取り装置に投入して次の有効期間まで
CAL内のメモリ内容を更新する。この際にも特
定の暗号キー操作を行なう。駅の自動定期券判別
装置にカードを差し込み、簡易なキー操作により
認知が完了するとCPUは一定時間ゲートを開き
パスさせる。このような使用法は身分証明証等に
も適用できる。
