BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, laminated decorative veneers having a wood grain pattern similar to that of natural precious wood have been manufactured using raw wood veneers obtained by cutting inexpensive wood. In other words, a raw wood veneer is dyed in the spring wood color of a natural precious wood such as natural cedar, and this spring wood colored veneer is colored in the same color as the summer wood part (grain) of the natural cedar. Natural cedar-like laminated decorative veneers are manufactured by stacking multiple sheets coated with adhesive, pressing them with a pair of molds to form a frit, and then slicing them. However, when producing a natural cedar-like laminated decorative veneer in this way, the summer wood color adhesive applied to the spring wood color veneer passes through the cracks of the spring wood color veneer and the spring wood color adhesive is applied to the spring wood color veneer. Because it soaks into the inside of the veneer, the boundary between the summer wood color adhesive layer and the spring wood color adhesive layer becomes blurred, and the resulting laminated decorative veneer is The boundary between the spring wood section (consisting of layers) and the spring wood section (consisting of spring wood colored veneer) was unclear and looked somewhat unnatural. Furthermore, the color of the summer wood color was uniform (because the color of the summer wood color adhesive layer was uniform), which also added to the unnatural appearance. In other words, natural cedar wood has a clear boundary between the summer wood (wood grain) and the spring wood, with the summer wood clearly appearing, and the color of the summer wood is not uniform but has a sharp linear shape. It consists of a dark colored part and a slightly lighter colored part, and the laminated decorative veneer obtained as described above had problems in these respects. Furthermore, when manufacturing laminated decorative veneers as described above, multiple raw wood veneers are dyed in the spring wood color, but not all veneers are necessarily dyed under the same conditions. do not have. Therefore, the color of the spring wood-colored veneer inevitably varies, and as a result, a problem arises in that the color of the spring wood portion of the decorative veneer obtained also varies locally.

This invention was made in view of these circumstances, and involves laminating and bonding a plurality of decolored veneers made from raw wood veneers using a highly transparent adhesive to create a laminate. The laminate is cut across the laminated surface to create a cut body, and then this cut body is dyed in a spring wood color, and then a wood grain pattern is transferred to the cut surface. The gist of this paper is a method for producing decorative wood materials.

That is, by doing this, the summer wood part appears tightly, and the summer wood part is composed of a sharp linear dark color part and a slightly lighter color part, and furthermore, in spring This makes it possible to produce decorative wood materials such as laminated decorative veneers without variations in the color of the wood parts.

As shown in Figure 1, a 1mm thick raw wood veneer 6 was made by hanging the inexpensive South Sea wood Agatis over a rotary lace. Next, the obtained raw wood veneer 6 was decolorized using a hydrogen peroxide solution to obtain a decolorized veneer 2 as shown in FIG. On the veneer surface of the bleached veneer 2 thus obtained, even after bleaching, the summerwood portions (grain) 3 and knots 4 of the agathis wood remain faintly. Next, as shown in FIG. 3, a transparent adhesive (moisture curing polyurethane adhesive, manufactured by Nippon Polyurethane Co., Ltd.
-3050) 7 was applied, a plurality of sheets were piled up, and the sheets were pressed together using a flat plate to create Fritsch 1. This fritsch 1 was sliced across the laminated surface 5 (as indicated by the arrow in FIG. 3) to obtain a sliced veneer (cut object) 8 as shown in FIG. The thus obtained sliced veneer 8 has a structure in which the cut ends of a large number of bleached veneers 2 are glued together with a transparent adhesive 7, and the bleached veneer 2 is attached to the surface of the veneer.
The end face of the cut end of is exposed, and the veneer surface of the bleached veneer 2 (the grains 3, knots 4, etc. of the agathis wood remain faintly on this veneer surface) is not visible. Therefore, on the veneer surface of this sliced veneer 8, no grains, knots, etc. of the agathis wood appear. Next, the obtained sliced veneer 8 was dyed in the color of spring wood using a spring wood coloring solution (manufactured by Sumitomo Chemical Co., Ltd., using PM dye). Then, as shown in FIG. 5, a grain pattern similar to the grain pattern (summer wood portion) of natural cedar was transferred onto the veneer surface of the obtained spring wood colored veneer 9.
In this transfer, a wood grain pattern is printed on a polyester film 10 using an ink 11 containing a nitrocellulose resin as a vehicle, and then the printed surface is superimposed on the veneer surface (printed surface) of the spring wood color veneer 9. ,
In this state, the polyester film with the printed wood grain pattern was strongly pressed against the spring wood colored veneer 9, and then only the polyester film 10 was peeled off. In this case, the printed surface of the polyester film 10 is coated with ink 1, which has low permeability into the veneer.
1, a wood grain pattern with sharp linear dark colored parts and slightly lighter colored parts is formed, so the transfer creates sharp lines on the veneer surface of spring wood color veneer 9. The wood grain is formed with a dark colored part and a slightly lighter colored part (the ink does not penetrate into the veneer, so the boundary between the wood grain and the spring wood is not blurred).

In this way, the wood grain is clearly visible, and it is composed of a linear dark colored part where the wood grain is sharp and a slightly lighter colored part. A laminated decorative veneer closely resembling natural cedar was obtained. In this laminated decorative veneer, the spring wood part is made up of spring wood color veneer that is uniformly dyed in the spring wood color by one dyeing process, so there is no color unevenness in the spring wood part. be. Furthermore, this spring wood colored veneer is made by dyeing sliced veneer (no wood grain or knots appear on the veneer surface), which has a structure in which the cut ends of many bleached veneers 2 are glued together with transparent adhesive. Because of this structure, no wood grain or knots appear on the surface of the veneer. In other words, when the bleached veneer 2 described above is dyed in the spring wood color as it is without going through the steps of lamination adhesion and slicing,
The grains 3 and knots 4 of the agathis wood remain faintly on the veneer surface of the resulting spring wood colored veneer. Because the wood is sliced into veneers and then dyed in the spring wood color, the grain and knots of the agathis wood will not remain faintly on the surface of the veneer, unlike when bleached veneer 2 is dyed as is. . Therefore, the appearance of the resulting wood decorative material will not be deteriorated by the faint grains and knots of the agathis wood that remain.

In the above example, a wood decorative material with a thin board thickness is manufactured, but by adjusting the cutting of the fritch 1 to create a cut body that is thicker than a sliced veneer, a thick board-like material is manufactured. Alternatively, it is also possible to obtain columnar wood decorative materials. Furthermore, it is also possible to obtain decorative wood materials that closely resemble natural precious woods other than natural cedar. Note that it goes without saying that it can be manufactured using either board-grained wood or straight-grained wood.

As described above, the present invention creates a laminate by laminating and bonding a plurality of bleached veneers obtained by bleaching raw wood veneers using a highly transparent adhesive, and then crosses the laminated surface of the laminate. After cutting the laminate to create a cut body, this cut body is dyed in a spring wood color to give it a spring wood color, and then the wood grain pattern is transferred to the cut surface. This makes it possible to produce a wood decorative material that has a sharp appearance, and the summer wood area is composed of sharp linear dark colored areas and lighter areas, and there is no variation in the color of the spring wood area. be. And this wood decorative material is
Since it is constructed using spring wood-colored veneer made from cut veneer with no grain or knots caused by raw wood remaining on the veneer surface, the appearance is deteriorated by residual wood grain. It is in very good condition.
