DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION [Field of Application of the Invention] The present invention relates to a cutting method and a cutting die for composite materials, and particularly to a cutting method and a cutting die suitable for improving contact performance and eliminating cutting gas in clad bonding composite processing die technology. Regarding cutting molds.

The conventional mold structure has a contact layer 1' as shown in FIG.
The mold structure was such that the clad wire 1, which is a composite material in which the base material 1" and No consideration was given to dimensional changes in the contact material on the burr side.

In other words, according to the conventional method, when the clad wire 1 is cut with the cutting punch 3 as shown in FIG. 4, the cut surfaces become sloping 1a and burrs 1b, and the thickness dimensions of the contact layers are different, and when looking at each cross section, one side is the base material. 1″
The contact layer 1' bites into the contact layer 1', and the other contact layer 1' bites into the base material 1''. When the thus cut piece is used as a contact as shown in Fig. 5, the base material becomes a contact. It digs into the layer, shortening the product life and causing contact welding accidents. Therefore, in the process leading up to the present invention, a cut was made in advance in the clad wire 1 with a punch whose cutting edge was formed at an acute angle, and then the cutting process was performed. However, as shown in Fig. 6a and b, if the feed rate of the clad wire 1 is small or large, burrs 1c that cause chips will be generated at the cut section, resulting in failure. There was a problem that it caused non-defective products and mold breakage accidents.

The purpose of the present invention is to prevent the base material from biting into the contact layer in the technology of cutting composite materials to form contacts, to obtain a product that does not cause accidents such as contact welding, and to prevent mold accidents from occurring. It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for cutting composite materials and a cutting mold with a small amount of use.

The present invention provides a composite material cutting method for cutting a composite material made by laminating dissimilar metals, in which a flat part is cut at the bottom at a depth approximately equal to the thickness of the surface member at the cutting position before the composite material cutting step. The method is characterized in that a notch is formed by performing a notch process, and then the notch is cut. Further, the present invention includes a first punch provided to form a notch in the upper surface member of the composite material, and a second punch provided to cut the composite material at the notch. In the composite material cutting mold, the first punch has a wedge-shaped cutting edge with a flat portion at the tip thereof.

FIG. 1 shows a method for cutting a composite material and a cutting die in this example. A cut 5 having a flat portion 5a at the bottom is formed with a first punch 4 at a depth approximately equal to the thickness of the contact layer 1' on the surface of the clad wire 1, which is a composite material, and then a second cut is made.
It is cut with a cutting punch 3, which is a punch. As shown in FIG. 2, the cutting punch 4 has a wedge-shaped cutting edge 4a with a flat portion 4b formed at the tip thereof.

The angle of the tip of the cutting edge 4a of the incision punch 4 should be as acute as possible, but in consideration of strength etc., it is preferably about 20 to 30 degrees. Furthermore, at the tip of the notch punch 4,
A flat portion 4b of about 0.2 to 0.3 mm is formed.

According to the present invention, a cut portion having a flat bottom portion is formed at a cutting position of the composite material at a depth approximately equal to the thickness of the surface member, and the cut portion is cut, so that the contact layer of the base material is cut. Since biting can be prevented, accidents such as contact welding will not occur, and a product with a long product life can be obtained, and since burrs can be prevented from forming during cutting, mold accidents can be reduced.
