(Description of Prior Art) The conventional manufacturing method for a seat in which a cushion pad and a skin material covering the cushion pad are integrated is to mold the cushion pad and the skin material separately and then assemble them into one piece. . When forming the skin material, in addition to the process of shaping the skin material into a predetermined shape, a pattern forming process consisting of sewing, welding, etc. is required to give the skin material a desired pattern. Ta. As described above, the manufacturing process in the conventional seat manufacturing method is complicated, and there has been a demand for simplification.

Further, in the seat manufactured in this manner, the upholstery material and the cushion pad are separated from each other, and the upholstery material covers the cushion pad. Therefore, when the seat is compressed and the load is released, undesirable phenomena such as creases in the upholstery, wrinkles in the upholstery, and friction noise between the upholstery and the cushion pad occur.

(Structure of the Invention) FIG. 1 shows structural members used in carrying out the present invention, in which 1 is a skin material, 2 is an adhesive member, and 3 is a cushion pad. The skin material 1 is made of cloth such as woven fabric or non-woven fabric, or synthetic resin synthetic leather, or a sewn product of cloth and fake leather, and the front side that will become the front surface when used as a seat is inward, and the upper part is open. It is shaped like a bag. The adhesive member 2 is made of an elastic synthetic resin foam such as soft polyurethane foam, which is entirely or partially impregnated or coated with an adhesive member. The adhesive is preferably one that remains flexible even after bonding, and a polyurethane-based elastic adhesive, particularly one based on a reaction between a curing agent and a polyurethane prepolymer, is preferred. The cushion pad 3 is made of an elastic synthetic resin foam such as polyurethane foam, which has a desired hardness and is molded into a predetermined shape.

As shown in FIG. 2, the skin material 1 and the cushion pad 3 are attached to one mold 4 and the other mold 5, respectively, and the molds 4 and 5 are closed via the adhesive member 2, and the skin material 1 is The back surface and the seat surface of the cushion pad 3 or the seat surface and the periphery of the seat surface are bonded together. The inner surface of the mold 4 to which the skin material is mounted has a shape corresponding to the seat surface of the cushion pad 3 or the seat surface and the periphery of the seat surface, and pattern-forming irregularities 4a are formed as necessary. When the molds 4 and 5 are closed, the skin material 1, the adhesive member 2, and the cushion pad 3 are compressed to some extent, and are integrated along the seat surface of the cushion pad 3, or the shape of the seat surface and the circumference of the seat surface. Furthermore, the mold 4 has a pattern forming unevenness 4a.
In this case, the constituent members in contact with the pattern-forming unevenness 4a, especially the skin material 1 and the adhesive member 2, are compressed according to the shape of the pattern-forming unevenness 4a, and the adhesive is cured in this state. A desired uneven pattern is provided. A desired pattern can be obtained by changing the shape of the pattern-forming unevenness. Further, in order to promote curing of the bonded portion, heating is performed when the mold is closed, if necessary. The presence or absence of this heating and the conditions are determined by the type of adhesive used,
It is determined by the shape of the seat, molding cycle, etc. The skin material 1 is attached to the mold 4 using pins, adhesive tape, etc. provided on the outer periphery of the mold 4.

After the seat surface of the cushion pad 3 or the seat surface and the periphery of the seat surface are adhered to the adhesive member 2 and the back surface of the skin material 1 to form a laminate, the molds 4 and 5 are opened and the laminate is taken out. This laminate is shown in cross-section in FIG. The skin material 1 has a shape in which the periphery 1a is curved upward and inward. The periphery 1a of the skin material in such a state is reversed downward in the direction of arrow R, covers the side surface of the cushion pad 3, and is secured to the side or back surface of the cushion pad using a locking part (not shown) to secure the seat sheet. get. The locking part is determined by the material of the skin material, the shape of the seat, the structure of the automobile body to which the seat is attached, etc., and may not be used in some cases. a indicates a pattern.

(Effects of the Invention) The manufacturing method according to the present invention includes attaching a bag-shaped skin material with the surface side inside on one side of the seat surface or a mold whose surface is provided with the shape of the seat surface and the surroundings of the seat surface. A cushion pad having a predetermined shape is attached to the other side of the mold so that the seat surface faces the back surface of the skin material, and the mold is closed via an adhesive member, and the cushion pad is attached to the back surface of the skin material, the adhesive material, and the cushion pad. The seat surface of the cushion pad, or the seat surface and the periphery of the seat surface are partially or completely adhered, and then the mold is removed, the circumference of the skin material is turned over, and the sides of the cushion pad are covered to form a seat sheet.

As described above, the manufacturing method of the present invention is for attaching a bag-shaped skin material with the surface side inside to a mold having a seat surface or a shape of the seat surface and the surroundings of the seat surface on the inner surface. Before bonding the skin material, adhesive member, and cushion pad together, the skin material is shaped to roughly correspond to the shape of the seating surface of the cushion pad, and wrinkles are prevented from forming in the skin material during compression when the mold is closed for bonding. It is difficult to form and a good appearance can be obtained. In addition, since the skin material is bag-shaped, the periphery of the skin material covers the side of the mold, which makes it easy to attach the skin material to the mold, and the periphery of the skin material covers the sides of the mold after demolding. You can cover the sides of the cushion pad by simply flipping it over. Furthermore, by providing a pattern-forming unevenness that imparts a desired pattern on the surface of the mold to which the skin material is mounted, a pattern is imparted to the skin material when the skin material, adhesive member, and cushion pad are bonded together. It does not require complicated work to add patterns.

In addition, in the manufactured seats, the upholstery material and cushion pad are partially or fully adhered with an adhesive material, so when compressed or when the load is released, the upholstery material may have unsightly creases or raised wrinkles. Wrinkles do not occur, and furthermore, friction noise due to slippage between the skin material and the cushion pad does not occur.
