Technical background of the invention and its problems As shown in Figure 6, a dot printer head 1
The platen 2 facing the platen 2 is often made of a metal core 3 with a pressure receiving body 4 fixed to the outer surface made of hard rubber or synthetic resin. When the paper 5 is fed by the platen 2, both the pressure receiving body 4 and the core material 3 have a circular cross section, but when the paper 5 is fed by other rollers, the cross section is not necessarily circular. In any case, it is well known that in the case of a dot printer, the head gap s between the dot printer head 1 and the platen 2 must be adjusted within a narrow range of 0.02 to 0.05 mm. However, even if adjusted within this range during assembly, the linear expansion coefficient of the pressure receiving body 4 made of rubber or synthetic resin is lower than that of the core material 3.
Since it is larger than that of , the amount of change in linear expansion in the direction of thickness A becomes large, making it impossible to control the head gap s within a narrow tolerance range. For example, if A is 12.7mm, if the temperature changes by 50℃, the value of A will be
Changes from 0.06 to 0.09. If the thickness A of the pressure receiving body 4 is made small, the amount of change in linear expansion can be made small, but the radius of the arc of the outer periphery becomes small and variations occur in the gaps of the individual needles of the dot printer head 1 with respect to the platen 2. If s is large, the print will be thin, and if s is small, there is a problem that the paper 5 will be rubbed by the ink ribbon and smeared.

Summary of the Invention This invention has a platen formed by fixing a non-metallic pressure receiving body to the outer surface of a core material, in which left and right support members are provided to hold both ends of the core material, and the dot printer head side of these support members is provided. One end edge is fixed to a reference edge formed on the left and right frames, and the support member is allowed to expand and contract based on temperature changes with this reference edge as a reference, and linear expansion and contraction changes in the thickness direction of the pressure receiving body under the same temperature conditions. Therefore, after assembly and adjustment, the desired head gap is always maintained regardless of temperature changes, preventing differences in printing shading and staining the paper. It is designed to be transparent.

A carrier shaft 7 and a guide shaft 8 are installed on opposite frames 6, and a carrier 9 carrying a dot printer head 1 moves these shafts 7,
8 and is slidably held. Platen 2
A cylindrical pressure receiving body 4 made of synthetic resin is fixed to the outer periphery of a core material 3 made of steel with a circular cross section, and the thickness of the pressure receiving body 4 is set to dimension A.

Next, a support member 11 made of synthetic resin is provided to which a bush 10 for rotatably supporting the core member 3 is attached. A square hole 12 is formed in the frame 6, and a support member 1 is attached to a reference edge 13 on one side of the square hole 12.
One side edge 14 of one dot printer head 1 is fixed with an adhesive 15 or the like. Support member 11
has an adhesive reinforcing piece 16 to increase the adhesive area to the frame 6, but the fixed end to the frame 6 is substantially one end edge 14. Square hole 1
2 is formed larger than the support member 11 so that the support member 11 expands and contracts due to temperature changes.

In this configuration, the platen 2 is rotated to feed the paper one pitch, and the carrier 9 is moved to perform printing. Then, the thickness A of the pressure receiving body 4 of the platen 2 changes due to the temperature change, and the thickness A of the pressure receiving body 4 of the platen 2 changes.
The dimension A' from the fixed end to the core material 3 with respect to the reference edge 13 of 1 also changes, but if the linear expansion coefficient of the pressure receiving body 4 is α R and the linear expansion coefficient of the support member 11 is α C , the temperature changes by ΔT. Head gap s (ΔT) between platen 2 and dot printer head 1 when
The change in is expressed by the following formula.

s(ΔT)=s−αRA・ΔT+αCA′ΔT =s+(αCA′−αRA)ΔT したがつて、受圧体4の線膨張係数(材料)と

s(ΔT)=s−α R A・ΔT+α C A′ΔT = s+(α C A′−α R A)ΔT Therefore, determine the linear expansion coefficient (material) and thickness A of the pressure receiving body 4. By determining the coefficient of linear expansion (material) and dimension A' of the support member 11, the linear expansion changes α R A and α C A' of both can be made equal, and the head gap s can be maintained regardless of temperature changes. can be kept constant, thereby preventing the occurrence of shading differences in printing and staining of the paper by the ink ribbon.

Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be explained based on FIGS. 4 and 5. The same parts as in the previous embodiment are designated by the same reference numerals, and the description thereof will be omitted. A platen 19 is provided on the outer surface of a core material 17 formed of a horizontally elongated metal material, and a pressure receiving body 18 made of synthetic resin is fixed thereto. Both ends of the core material 17 are supported by synthetic resin support members 2.
Fixed to 0. One end edge 21 of the support member 20
is bonded to the reference edge 13 with an adhesive 15, but an adhesive reinforcing piece 16 is integrally formed in order to increase the bonding area to the frame 6, as in the previous embodiment. Therefore, the pressure receiving body 18 and the support member 20 are made of the same material and have the same coefficient of linear expansion. Also, the thickness A of the pressure receiving body 18 and the support member 20
The dimension A' from the fixed end with respect to the reference edge 13 to the core material 17 is determined to be equal.

Therefore, even if the temperature changes, the amount of change in linear expansion of A and A' is the same, and the head gap s can always be kept constant.

Effects of the Invention Since the present invention is configured as described above, when the thickness of the pressure receiving body of the platen changes due to temperature,
The support member that holds the core material of the platen can be expanded and contracted with respect to the reference edge of the frame, and the amount of change in linear expansion of the two can be made equal, so that the head gap can always be kept within a certain range. This has the effect of preventing stains on the paper due to the staining of the paper and making it possible to obtain clear printing.
