この考案は、タイプライター等の印字装置にお

(従来技術)
従来の印字装置のプラテンとしては、印字巾の
長さにおいて、印字する際の支えと、用紙の支え
といつた二通りの作用が要求されている。用紙の
巾は印字の際に両側に余白を必要とするので印字
巾より長いことになる。そして、その用紙の巾を
支える為にプラテンの全長は印字巾より約70mm長

合)とすると、印字に必要な用紙は左右の余白を
勘案してA4であり、その巾は約297mmである。プ
ラテン全長としてはA4の用紙の左右に用紙を支
える余裕として各3mmづつ必要であるから、297
mm+3mm×2=303mmが必要となる。プラテンが
少くともこの長さの巾を有することによりA4の
用紙を支え、円滑に送ることができる。プラテン
の材質として硬質のゴム材を使用するのは印字を

で形成した部品を用いることにより、前記問題点

脂で形成した印字支持部4をそれぞれ設けてあ
る。印字支持部3の表面は円筒状をなし、その外
径と用紙支持部の外径とは同一であり、段差を生

部を設け、その両側にそれぞれプラスチツク等の
合成樹脂より成る用紙支持部を設けたので、高価
な硬質ゴム材を少なくすることができ、プラテン
全体としてのコストを安くすることができるとい
