スタートモードかコールドスタートモードかを判
別するモード判別手段３と、ホツトスタートモー
ドの場合に点火スイツチオン直後から所定の周期
毎にサーモカツプル起電力を測定し、前回測定の
サーモカツプル起電力Ａと、今回測定のサーモカ
ツプル起電力Ｂとを比較して、Ａ≦Ｂであれば炎
検出と判定するホツトスタート炎判別手段４と、
コールドスタートモードの場合に点火スイツチオ
ン直後から所定の周期毎にサーモカツプル起電力
を測定し、前回測定のサーモカツプル起電力Ａと
、今回測定のサーモカツプル起電力Ｂとを比較し
て、Ａ＜Ｂの場合に炎検出と判定するコールドス
タート炎判別手段５とを備える構成としたことを
