Claims (1)
- カム位相角度可変装置の略円筒状ケーシングが
カムシヤフトの前端に装着されるとともに、この
ケーシングの後端側にカムスプロケツトが設けら
れてなる内燃機関において、上記カムシヤフトを
支持するシリンダヘツドと該シリンダヘツド上面
を覆うシリンダヘツドカバーとの接合面を、カム
シヤフトの略中心を通るように設定し、上記シリ
ンダヘツドの前端壁上縁に、周縁にシール面を備
えた適宜な形状の切欠部を形成するとともに、上
記シリンダヘツドカバーの前端壁下縁に、内周に
適宜な幅のシール面を備えた半円形切欠部を形成
し、かつ両切欠部を通して突出したケーシングを
覆うように副カバー部材をシリンダヘツド前端面
に着脱可能に取り付け、この副カバー部材上側の
半円筒面とシリンダヘツドカバー側の切欠部内周
のシール面とを、シリンダヘツドカバー用シール
部材の一部を介して接合させたことを特徴とする
シリンダヘツド端部のシール構造。
