し、該ドラムにスラツトの一端を固定し、巻取り
可能となるスラツトの他端を格納室の下に開口す
る出入口より建物開口部の室外側に設けた案内レ
ールに挿入し、ドラムを駆動装置により回動し、
ドラムの回動によりスラツトを昇降するものであ
つた。しかしスラツト格納室を壁体の室外側に取
付けると、壁体より室外側に格納室が大きく突出
するため、非常に体裁が悪くなると共に、ドラム
を室内側から回動することが困難になる。さりと
て格納室を壁体の室内側に取付けると、室内側に
取付けた格納室より壁体を貫通して開口部の室外
側までスラツトを誘導しなければならないため、
その取付けが面倒になると共に、スラツトを滑ら
かに出し入れしにくくなる欠点があつた。

室内側まで達するロツド7、ロツド7の先に固定

4の駆動装置6を取付け、スラツト5を室内から
昇降し得るようにする。

部の外周を壁体に外付けするものであるから、格
納室の取付け簡単になるし、その取付けも一段と
強力になるばかりか、ドラムの駆動装置を埋設部
側面の外側に支承するものであるから、駆動装置
の取付けも簡単になるし、駆動装置を室内側まで
案内して操作することもできる。又スラツト格納
室を前記の如く半外付けにし、壁体より室外側に
露出する分を少なくしたことによつて、格納室よ
り案内レールに沿つて出入りするスラツトの彎曲
が小さくなるので、その分だけスラツトの昇降も
容易になるし、ドラムの回動も軽くなる等、本案
は建物開口部や車庫用のシヤツタとして有益な効
果を奏するものである。
