生じ、矯正材にすり傷を発生したり、局部的摩滅
により矯正ロールによる適正、かつ、精密な矯正
が出来なくなるので、従来此種装置では矯正ロー
ルの外形形状からそのままで研磨することが困難
で矯正ロールを矯正機本体から取外し、研磨して
いたものである。しかしながら、上記の如く矯正
ロールは夫々ある軸受ハウジングを介して矯正機
本体フレームに旋回及び圧下調節自在に組付けら
れている為、その取外し及び組付に相当の手間と
時間を費すばかりでなく、研磨装置への移動、取
付け、取外し等即座に簡単に研磨できないこと
と、その間矯正機を休止せねばならないという大
きな欠点があつた。

ル研磨装置を提供することを目的とするもので、
以下之れを図面に示す実施例について説明する。

稼動中に必要に応じて即時、簡単且つ容易に自動
的に研磨することができ、面倒な矯正ロールの再
調整が不要で、又矯正ロールをそのロール外形の
凸、凹形状に応じて常に平滑に保持し得て、矯正
ロールの局部摩耗及び摩滅凹面エツジ、圧痕等に
よる矯正材の傷の発生の虞れも皆無となる。更に
稼動中に矯正ロール表面研磨が同時に行え、従来
の如く矯正ロール研磨の為の取外しにより矯正機
を休止する必要がないから研磨の面倒さや、労
力、時間の無駄が解消され、作業能率の向上等大
きな効果を有するものである。

端に設けたモータ又は矯正ロール軸より伝動され
る減速機を介して駆動される回転軸を軸架し、ガ
イド軸と回転軸に渉り前記螺旋溝に側端において
交互に切替り係合する旋回自在の係合爪を局部に
枢支して往復摺動せしめられる摺動体を設け、該
摺動体内に矯正ロールの半径方向に向つて一端に
圧縮空気出入口を有するシリンダ室とスプリング
で復帰するピストン、ピストンロツドを内蔵した
エアシリンダを構成し、ピストンロツドの他端に
ブロツクを介して矯正ロール表面の研磨材(砥
石)を取付け、研磨材を矯正ロール表面に進退及
びロール軸方向に往復摺動することを特徴とする
