ランジヤと、プランジヤ孔内に形成されかつプラ
ンジヤにより画定される燃料加圧室と、燃料加圧
室内に開口しかつプランジヤによる燃料加圧作用
時にプランジヤによつて閉鎖される燃料供給ポー
トとを具備し、燃料供給ポートから燃料加圧室内
に供給された低圧の燃料をプランジヤにより加圧
してこの加圧燃料を噴射するようにした燃料噴射
装置において、上記プランジヤ孔を横切つてプラ
ンジヤ孔の軸線に対して直角方向に延びる穿設孔
を具備し、プランジヤ孔から一方向に延びる穿設
孔部分が上記燃料供給ポートを形成し、プランジ
ヤ孔から他方向に延びる穿設孔部分は外端部が閉
鎖された燃料ポートを形成し、上記燃料供給ポー
ト燃料ポートとを連通路を介して互いに連通せし
