なからず見受られている。さらに熱による影響で
溶接ホルダの寿命を縮め、中には溶接にはタブー
とされる水による冷却をせざるを得ぬこともあつ
て、益々溶接ホルダを早期に損傷させるという問

を防止し、その耐用寿命の大巾な延長を図り、か
つ空冷に要した空気の排気を利用してヒユームガ
スを作業者から遠ざける方向へ飛散させ、衛生面
の確保を併せて達成することができる溶接用ホル
ダを提供するものである。

筒の内部に連通する空気通路を形成し、前記先端
カバーに前記空気通路に連通する排気孔を前方に
向け開口し、前記挟持杆の挟持部のカバーに下方
に向く排気孔を開口し、このカバーの排気孔は前
記挟持部の先端の切欠等からなる通路を通じて前
記空気通路に連通してなり、握筒内に供給される
圧力空気がホルダ本体と先端カバーとの間を通る
間にホルダ本体を冷却し、前記排気孔から噴出す
る排気によりヒユームガスを吹飛ばすようにした
ことを特徴とするものである。

ルダ本体を冷却し、前記排気孔から噴出する排気
によりヒユームガスを吹飛ばすようにしたので、
鉄骨、橋粱、造船等の各分野において長尺すみ肉
溶接に欠かせぬ連続溶接を行なつても溶接ホルダ
の過熱が防止され、連続溶接が可能となり、しか
もホルダ本体を冷却した排気によりヒユームガス
が吹き飛ばされるので作業者の安全を確保するこ
とができ、溶接ホルダの耐用寿命の延長、火傷の
防止、有害ガスの吸引防止等、幾多の効果が得ら
れる。
