Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily mix, diffuse and emulsify a liquid by specially providing the base end peripheral edge of a horn to a main body case and fixedly providing not only a resonance vibration plate to the leading end part of the horn but also an ultrasonic vibrator to the base end surface thereof and providing a switch for intermittently connecting the oscillation circuit of the ultrasonic vibrator to a power supply. CONSTITUTION:When power is supplied to an oscillation circuit 16 from a power supply 17 by operating a switch 18, an ultrasonic vibrator 15 is excited and driven by the oscillation of oscillation circuit 16 to output an ultrasonic wave which is, in turn, propagated to an exponential horn 12. This ultrasonic vibration is increased in its amplitude at the leading end of the exponential horn 12 to vibrate a resonance vibration plate 14 at large amplitude. Then, a liquid near to a boundary is mixed and diffused by the vibration of the resonance vibration plate 14. Further, an ultrasonic wave is given to the liquid from the exponential horn 12 and the resonance vibration plate 14, and the mixing, diffusion and emulsification of the liquid is promoted by this ultrasonic energy. This emulsification can be performed up to an extremely fine particle state.

(Prior Art) In recent years, the intake of large quantities of fresh vegetables has been recognized as a way to improve health, and eating fresh vegetables as a salad has become common, especially among young people. Separate dressing is a type of salad seasoning, and it consists of two types of liquids, similar to water and oil, that have different specific gravity and are usually separated. Before use, this separate dressing is used by shaking the container by hand to properly mix and disperse the two types of liquids and then sprinkling them on fresh vegetables, but the mixture is not always sufficiently mixed. For this reason, after being poured over fresh vegetables, the dressing easily separates into two types of liquid again, making it impossible to fully bring out the original flavor of the dressing.

Therefore, in order to achieve better mixing and diffusion, it is conceivable to use a conventional stirrer 1 as shown in FIG. 3. The stirrer 1 shown in FIG. 3 is mainly used as a whisk. Then, the wooden case 2 is held with one hand, the rotor 3 is immersed in the liquid to be mixed, and the switch 4 is turned on. Then, a motor (not shown) built into the main body case 2 is driven and rotated, and the rotor 3 is rotated at an appropriate speed, and the liquid to be mixed is stirred and mixed.

拡散がなされる。Diffusion takes place.

Diffusion means can only slightly mix and diffuse water and oil, which are the main components of a separate dressing, but cannot emulsify them. Therefore, it is quickly separated into ordinary states. For this reason, even if a stirrer 1 as shown in Fig. 3 is used, the rotating area of the rotor 3 is large, and containers for separate dressings, even commercial products, are generally long and narrow with narrow openings. There is a problem in that the separate dressing cannot be used unless it is transferred to another wide-mouthed container.

In FIGS. 1 and 2, the ultrasonic mixer IO is
A base end periphery of an exponential horn 12 made of a light metal such as aluminum is supported in a main body case 11 made of resin or the like by dampers 13 and 13 made of rubber material or the like so that it can be photographed. Note that a conical horn may be used instead of the exponential horn 12,
Any horn may be used as long as the vibration at the base end is increased in amplitude at the tip end. Moreover, the material of the exponential horn 12 may be any material as long as it can propagate ultrasonic waves well. A thin disc-shaped resonant diaphragm 14 is fixed to the tip of the exponential horn 12 so as to be perpendicular to the axial direction. Further, an ultrasonic vibrator 15, which is a piezoelectric vibrator such as a ceramic vibrator, is fixed to the base end surface of the exponential horn 12 in the main body case 11 with an adhesive or the like. Furthermore, inside the main body case II, an oscillation circuit 16 that oscillates at the resonance frequency of the ultrasonic transducer 15 and this oscillation circuit 16 are provided.
A power source 17 such as a battery is built in to supply power to the device. Furthermore, a switch 18 is disposed in the main body case II to turn off and on the supply of power from the power supply 17 to the oscillation circuit 16. Although not shown, it goes without saying that the main body case 11 is appropriately constructed so that the power source 17 such as a battery can be easily replaced.

In this configuration, the tip of the exponential horn 12 is inserted into the narrow-mouthed container 20 containing the separate dressing, and the resonant diaphragm 14 is positioned approximately at the boundary between water and oil. Then, operate the switch 18 to turn on the power supply 17.
The oscillation circuit 16 is supplied with power from the oscillation circuit 16. Then, the ultrasonic vibrator 15 is excitedly driven by the oscillation of the oscillation circuit 16, and an ultrasonic wave is output and propagated to the exponential horn 12. The amplitude of this ultrasonic vibration is increased at the tip of the exponential horn 12, causing the resonant diaphragm 14 to vibrate with a large amplitude. Therefore, the liquid near the boundary is mixed and diffused by the vibration of the resonant diaphragm 14. Furthermore, ultrasonic waves are applied to the liquid from the exponential horn 12 and the resonant diaphragm 14, and this ultrasonic energy promotes mixing, spreading, and emulsification of the liquid. This emulsification is performed down to extremely fine particles.

Therefore, it is possible to easily and reliably mix, diffuse, and emulsify liquids to be mixed in a narrow-mouthed container without transferring them to another wide-mouthed container. and,
Due to reliable mixing, it takes a long time to separate again after mixing. For this reason, for example, if it is a separate dressing, it will not separate even after being poured on fresh vegetables.
You can fully enjoy the original flavor.
