【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は、複写機の原稿サイズ検出機構に関す

イズに応じた所定位置に原稿を配置し、更に用紙
サイズを選定してコピー開始操作をするようにな

に予めセツトされた複数種のサイズの用紙のうち
所望のサイズの用紙が指令によつて選択給送され
るようになつている給紙機構を有する複写機もあ
るが、そのような複写機に於いてさえも、上記の
如きコピー開始操作に当つては、操作者は原稿に
応じた用紙サイズボタンを選択操作しなければな
らず、従つて、コピーをとるべく用意した原稿の
サイズが種々異なるような場合には、上記の用紙
サイズ選択ボタンの操作が頻繁になるため煩し
く、且つ、用紙サイズ選択ボタンの操作を誤つて

横の縁辺にそれぞれ対応している。この各基準サ
イズ線3,4の各縦横部分を挾むように、即ち、
所定のサイズの原稿の縁辺部によつて一方が塞が
れるような状態で、対をなす透明な電極3A,3
B,3C,3D,及び、4A,4B,4C,4D
を、各一対がそれぞれ、いわば空気コンデンサー
を形成するように設ける。これらの電極は、例え
ば透明な導電性インクにより原稿台1上に薄膜状
に描き、且つ、図示しないリード線を介して増巾

ラム側等所定の部位に向けて給送される。なお、
コピーをとる際に原稿5の置き方を誤つたり、所
定のサイズと異なる原稿を使用した場合には、電
極3Aないし4Dの静電容量の変化が予め設定し
た条件とは異なつてくるので、用紙の自動選択動
作は行なわれない。また、電極3Aないし4D
は、透明であるから、コピーの際に原稿5の内容
と共に写し出されることはない。更に、原稿5
