伸張行程時に伸側減衰力発生手段を介して上部液
室の液体を下部液室に流出させて減衰力を発生さ
せるとともにピストンの圧縮行程時に開弁して下
部液室から上部液室への液体の流通を許容するピ
ストンチエツクバルブと、前記シリンダの下端部
に配設されピストンの圧縮行程時に圧側減衰力発
生手段を介して下部液室内の液体をリザーバ室へ
流出させて減衰力を発生させるとともにピストン
の伸張行程時に開弁してリザーバ室から下部液室
への液体の流通を許容するベースチエツクバルブ
と、前記ピストンロツド内を通り前記ベースチエ
ツクバルブを貫通して形成され前記上部液室及び
リザーバ室間を連通する連通路と、この連通路の
途中に介装され連通路の通路断面積を変化させて
ピストンの伸張行程時及び圧縮行程時に発生する
減衰力を調整する減衰力調整手段と、この減衰力
調整手段及び前記リザーバ室間に介装されピスト
ンの伸張行程時及び圧縮行程時に伸圧兼用減衰手
段を介して上部液室側からの液体をリザーバ室へ
流出させて減衰力を発生させる伸圧兼用減衰バル
ブとを備えたことを特徴とする減衰力可変型液圧
緩衝器。
