レーキロータを回転自在に支持する支持部材側に
装着されるキヤリパと、 ブレーキロータの両側に配置されるブレーキパ
ツドと、 上記キヤリパのブレーキロータ両側部に形成さ
れ、液圧通路を介して互いに連通されるシリンダ
と、 該シリンダ内に収納され、ブレーキパツドの裏
側を押圧可能なピストンとを備え、 ブレーキペダルの踏み込みによつて、マスター
シリンダから供給される液圧が上記シリンダに供
給されることにより、ピストンがブレーキパツド
を押圧し、もつて、該ブレーキパツドがブレーキ
ロータに圧接されることにより制動される対向ピ
ストン型デイスクブレーキ装置において、 上記マスターシリンダ液圧を上記シリンダに取
り入れる液圧導入口に、該マスターシリンダを作
動する制動操作部材と連動して開閉されるチエツ
クバルブを設けたことを特徴とする対向ピストン
