療工具1の駆動源を内装したハンドピース本体2
と、このハンドピース本体2に接続されてその先
端に向けて加圧水を供給する給水通路5とを備え
た医療用ハンドピースにおいて、該ハンドピース
に対する作動停止信号の入力に基づいて、その信
号入力から設定時間t3の経過後に上記給水通路
5に介装した開閉弁6を閉動させる遅延手段、上
記給水通路5に接続した蓄水部17から該給水通
路5内に瞬間的に圧力水を噴射して残留水を押出
し排出する蓄水排出手段、上記給水通路5内に圧
縮空気を一時的に導入して残留水を押出し排出す
る空気導入手段のいずれかの給水通路汚染防止手
段を自動的に作動させるように構成したことを特
徴とする医療用ハンドピースの内部汚染防止装置
