によつて水切板4上に取付ける。そして第2図に
示すように鬼瓦取付金具6を水切板4上に配して
この鬼瓦取付金具6の両端の固着片12,12を
水切板4上から笠木3に釘打ちなどで固着させ
る。鬼瓦7は本体13と本体13の背部に突設し
た嵌合片14とで形成され、嵌合片14を棟カバ
ー5の端部内に嵌合させると共に本体13の下縁
より背方へ突出させた差込み片8を鬼瓦取付金具
6と水切板4との間に差込むことにより鬼瓦7の

れる。また鬼瓦7の本体13にも通気がらり21
が設けてあつて棟カバー5内の空気はこの通気が
らり21からも排出される。このようにして屋根
裏の換気が棟の部分で行なわれるようになつてい
るものであるが、上記のようにして鬼瓦7の取付
けを行なうにあたつては次のような問題があつ
た。すなわち、野地板2,2上に取付ける笠木
3,3の間隙は施工現場における作業上の都合等
により若干の誤差が出ることは避けられないもの
であるが、この場合棟カバー5は薄金属板で形成
されているために棟カバー5を若干変形させたり
することによつて上記誤差を吸収させた状態で棟
カバー5を笠木3,3間に取付けることは容易で
あるが、鬼瓦取付金具6は厚みが2.3mm程度の金
属材で形成されており、厚いために変形させたり
することが困難であるうえ無理に変形させると鬼
瓦7の取付けに支障が生じてくることになり、従
つて笠木3,3間の間隙に狂いが生じるとたちま
ち鬼瓦取付金具6を笠木3,3間に取付けること
が困難になるという問題を有するものであつた。
