(Prior Art) FIG. 8 shows a conventional coin transfer device used for example in a vending machine, in which a pair of transfer belts 1 and 2 are arranged side by side in the vertical direction, and the upper end of the transfer belt 1 on the upwardly protruding side is wound around a guide roller 3, and the upper end of the other transfer belt 2 is wound around a guide roller 4, so that the coin 5 is sandwiched between the belts 1 and 2 and transferred upward.

In order to be able to send out the coin 5 sandwiched between the belts 1 and 2 from the upper end side, the guide rollers 3 and 4 are vertically spaced apart so that the upper ends of the delivery belts 1 and 2 are vertically different from each other. I'm trying to make it happen. That is, as shown in FIG.
to the same height as roller 3, and
If they are arranged side by side on the upper end of the main body 6, the belt 1
Since it is necessary to sandwich the coin 5 between the rollers 3 and 2,
4 must be kept in pressure contact with each other via belts 1 and 2. Therefore, if the rollers 3 and 4 are simply mounted rotatably around their axes,
Coin 5 sandwiched between belts 3 and 4 is attached to belts 1 and 2
It becomes impossible to feed from between the upper ends of roller 3,
One of the rollers 4, for example, the roller 4 is held so as to be able to move toward and away from the roller 3, and a spring is provided to bias the roller 4 toward the roller 3.
If the coin is configured to be able to be fed from the upper end of the belts 1 and 2, the roller 4 will be separated from the roller 3 as shown by the chain line in FIG. , the upper sides of belts 1 and 2 are wide open. At this time, the coin 5 that was sandwiched between the upper middle portions of the belts 3 and 4 will fall. Therefore, if the rollers 3 and 4 are arranged side by side at the same height, it is impossible to sandwich the coin 5 between the belts 1 and 2 and send it out from the upper end.
Therefore, in the conventional coin transfer device of this type, the rollers 3 and 4 are separated vertically as shown in FIG.
Generally, the structure is such that the coins 5 can be smoothly delivered from between the upper ends of the belts 1 and 2.

(Problem to be Solved by the Invention) Therefore, conventionally, as shown in FIG. Cannot be transferred. As a result, even if the roller 3 is placed as close to the upper end as possible with respect to the main body 6 that supports the rollers 3, 4, etc., the delivery port for the coins 5 relative to the main body 6 becomes low. For this reason, for example, if the height of the main body 6 is restricted due to the ceiling or the like at the location where the coin transfer device is installed, the delivery port may not reach the required height and the coins 5 coming out from the delivery port may not be received. The top opening position of the saucer becomes lower.

On the other hand, if the bottom of the saucer is too far down,
When taking out the coins 5 transferred to the receiving tray, the operator must bend over and insert his/her hand into the receiving tray, making it difficult to take out the coins 5. Furthermore, if the bottom of the saucer is set too low due to its design, it may interfere with other external members. In such a case, if the depth of the tray is increased, the tray may become a nuisance or it may become difficult to take out the coins transferred to the tray. Therefore, in order to eliminate this problem, if the outlet for the coins 5 is lowered relative to the main body 6 as described above, it is necessary to reduce the depth of the receiving tray. If the depth of the tray is made shallow, the number of coins that can be stored in the tray will be reduced. For example, in a coin transfer device used to transfer deposits and withdrawals at banks, more than 100 coins can be transferred to the tray at one time. However, if many coins 5 are transferred to the tray at once, a problem arises in that the coins overflow from the tray.

According to the configuration of the above embodiment, when the power of the motor is transmitted by the timing belt 31 and the first guide roller 16 rotates normally in the direction of the arrow b, the second guide roller 22 rotates as shown by the arrow c due to the meshing of the gears 30 and 39. As a result, the transfer belts 13 and 20 rotate in the directions of arrows d and e, respectively, and the transfer roller 48 rotates in the direction of arrow f. Therefore, the coin 5 inserted from the input port 12 is placed in the horizontal section 17.
, and then sandwiched between the vertical portion 18 of the first transfer belt 13 and the second transfer belt 20 and transferred upward. Next, the coin 5 that has reached the upper end of the second transfer belt 20 is held between the transfer roller 48 and the first transfer belt 13 by the swing of the transfer roller 48 in the direction of the arrow g, as shown in FIG. transported upwards. As a result, the coin 5 is guided by the guide plates 61 and 62 onto the first transfer belt 13.
It is delivered to the receiving tray 67 through the upper side of the .

According to the present invention, the transfer roller is provided so as to be able to move toward and away from the upwardly projecting portion of the upwardly projecting side transfer belt, and a spring is provided that biases the transfer roller toward the upwardly projecting side transfer belt. Since the coins transferred upward are sandwiched between the transfer belt on the upwardly projecting side and transferred upward, the coins can be transferred above the transfer belt on the upwardly projecting side, and therefore the transfer belt is supported. It becomes possible to transfer coins to a position as high as possible relative to the main body. Therefore, even if the height of the main body is restricted, the coin delivery port can be set at a required high position. As a result, even if the bottom of the tray that receives the transferred coins is set at a certain high position, the top opening position of the tray can be raised and the tray can be formed sufficiently deep, so that the height of the main body can be regulated. Even if the coins are placed in the tray, the bottom of the tray will be at a relatively high position, and the tray will not get in the way or make it difficult to take out the coins transferred to the tray. and,
A sufficient amount of coins can be stored in the tray, and the inconvenience of coins overflowing from the tray can be eliminated. Moreover, it is sufficient to simply provide a transfer roller and a spring to bias it compared to the conventional product, and there is almost no need to change the structure of the main body or other parts, and the structure is simple, easy to manufacture, and can be provided at low cost. , its practical effects are significant.
