By the way, even if the heating temperature is measured to be the melting temperature of the waterproof sheet, variations in the heating temperature may occur due to changes in the voltage during the welding process or changes in the welding work speed, and it may appear that the sheet is being welded. However, in reality, there may be some areas where welding is insufficient.

Water leaks may occur in areas where welding is insufficient due to rainfall after construction is completed, but this is difficult to detect, especially when a protective layer such as mortar is formed over the waterproof layer. is extremely difficult.

This invention solves the above-mentioned problems in the waterproofing method, and its purpose is to allow construction technicians to visually confirm whether or not complete welding has been completed while performing welding work during waterproofing. The construction method allows the construction manager to inspect and confirm the construction upon completion, and to visually confirm the complete waterproofing status at the time of handover.

This invention applies a temperature-indicating paint that changes color at the melting temperature of the tarpaulin or hot-melt adhesive applied to the tarpaulin to the entire length of the side edges of the surface of the PVC tarpaulin, and then coats the entire length of the side edges of the surface of a PVC tarpaulin on the sides that overlap above and below the adjacent tarpaulin. It is characterized by heating and pressurizing the edges until the temperature-indicating paint changes color.

Layer 4 of temperature-indicating paint is based on Chemical Encyclopedia 4 (December 1960)

There are reversible temperature-indicating paints that use compounds that change color as pigments, and reversible temperature-indicating paints that change color but regain their color when cooled, and irreversible temperature-indicating paints that do not change color even after they are cooled.Thermocolor, thermopaint, or It is also called chameleon paint.

If the tarpaulin sheet 2 is colored silver gray, light green, gray, charcoal, green, etc., use an irreversible temperature-indicating paint that will match the color tone of the tarpaulin sheet if it changes color, or
By using a reversible temperature-indicating paint whose color tone is the same as that of the tarpaulin sheet, there will be no unsightly lines of different colors on the surface of the waterproof layer caused by the temperature-indicating paint when the waterproofing method is completed, but it will leave some different-colored lines. It can also facilitate inspection and confirmation after construction is completed.

In addition, in the figure, the temperature-indicating paint layer 4 is formed on both sides of the waterproof sheet 2, so that any of the adjacent waterproof sheets may overlap on top of each other. If there is a risk that adhesion or welding may be incomplete due to the presence of the temperature-indicating paint between the edges, apply it only to one side edge surface of the waterproof sheet, and place the edge where the temperature-indicating paint is present on top.

This invention is as described above, and this construction method involves applying a temperature-indicating paint that changes color at the melting temperature of the waterproof sheet or the hot melt adhesive applied to the sheet over the entire length of the side edges on the surface of the waterproof sheet. , The above-mentioned waterproof sheets are sequentially laid on the surface to be waterproofed via an adhesive, and the opposing and overlapping side edges of adjacent waterproof sheets are heated and pressurized to weld or adhere, heating until the temperature-indicating paint changes color. Because the temperature-indicating paint changes color, construction workers can confirm that the welding or adhesion has been reliably performed, thereby preventing water leakage accidents from joints after completion, and preventing the temperature-indicating paint from being used. By making it irreversible, it can be easily inspected by the person in charge of construction upon completion of the waterproofing method, or confirmed by inspection at the time of handover, giving peace of mind to both the constructor and the building owner. There is.
