(Prior art) In the construction of roofs and exterior walls of buildings, there are various methods in which a backing plate is applied from the back side to the joint of the face plate so that water leaking from the joint flows down along the backing plate. It has been proposed that (Jikko Sho 57-
36741, Jitko No. 55-7645, Jitko No. 55-51954, etc.). However, if a large amount of water leaks from the joint to the backing plate at once, or if the construction is poor, the water may leak from the side of the backing plate and seep into the room. It was something that could get lost.

In order to solve this problem, for example,
Publication No. 164315 discloses that a backing plate having a length approximately equal to that of a roof tile and a width that overlaps each part of the roof tile connected in the horizontal direction has several water-retaining protrusions to prevent rainwater flowing to the backing plate. This prevents it from spreading laterally and guides it downward. However, when there is relatively little rainfall, rainwater flows smoothly below the backing plate, but when there is a lot of rainfall, the rainwater flowing downward may overflow and accumulate on the backing plate to some extent. This accumulated rainwater rises along the gap between the top edge of the backing plate and the top edge of the face plate due to capillary action, but since the top edge of the backing plate remains cut without turning upward, it rises. Rainwater does not get pushed back, but instead goes around to the back side of the backing plate, causing rainwater to leak.

In order to solve this problem, the length of the backing plate in the vertical direction is made longer than the face plate to make it difficult for rainwater to flow around from the upper edge of the backing plate to the back side, as disclosed in Publication No. 56-2740. In addition to the proposed method, the both ends of the face plate are folded inward at the lower surface of the face plate to form a folded piece, and the tip of the folded piece is folded outward at the lower surface of the folded piece and inserted. Bend the pieces, insert the insertion piece of one face plate between the folded piece and the insertion piece of the other face plate, and insert the pieces inward on the top surface of the backing plate at both ends of the backing plate whose left and right width is small. By inserting and locking the folded locking pieces between the folded pieces of each face plate and the lower surface of the face plate, it was made possible to prevent rainwater from entering the back surface from the left and right side edges of the backing plate. −
This is proposed in Publication No. 153121.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) However, in the case of Utility Model Publication No. 56-2740, the upper end and left and right ends of the backing plate are formed by cut ends, so when the amount of rain is very large, rain water can flow from these cut ends. There is a risk that the water may get around to the back side of the backing plate and cause leakage. Furthermore, the method disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 54-153121 is for continuously forming an inward folding piece and an outward folding piece on both ends of the face plate, which makes it difficult to process and connect them. The parts are bulky and the structure is complicated.Furthermore, during installation, it is necessary to insert and lock the small-width locking piece of the backing plate between the folded piece of the face plate and the bottom surface of the face plate, making the work cumbersome. Furthermore, there is a risk that rainwater that has entered the surface of the backing plate may leak from the cut end of the upper end of the backing plate to the back surface of the backing plate.

[Structure of the invention] (Means for solving the problem) The device for combining an architectural face plate and a backing plate of the present invention has the following features:
The upper edge of the face plate is formed with an engaging part that is folded back from the top to the bottom, and the lower edge is formed with an engaging part that is folded back from the bottom to the top. The engaging part on the upper edge of the pair of face plates is engaged with the engaging part on the lower edge of the face plate, and one of the left and right side edges of the face plate has a groove formed by folding this side edge toward the backing side. 1 folded part is formed and this first folded part is formed.
The ends of the folded parts are folded back toward the side edges to form a second folded part wider than the first folded part, and an insertion piece is further formed on the other of the left and right side edges, and a pair of face plates adjacent to each other on the left and right are formed. An insertion piece is inserted between the first folded part and the second folded part, and a backing plate is provided on the back surface of the face plate corresponding to the insertion point,
This backing plate is longer in the vertical direction than the face plate, and has a wider width in the left and right sides, and has unevenness in the vertical direction. At the same time, a folded piece is formed on the upper edge and the left and right side edges, and the upper, left and right peripheral edges of the backing plate are surrounded by the folded pieces. Insert the folded piece on the lower edge of the backing plate into the engaging part on the lower edge side of the face plate, position the folded piece on the upper edge of the backing plate above the upper edge of the faceplate, and The folded pieces on the side edges of the base plate are in contact with the back surface of the face plate.

FIG. 1 is a partially cutaway perspective view showing an embodiment of this invention, where A is a face plate having an elongated rectangular shape. As is clear from FIG. 2, which is an enlarged cross-sectional view taken along the line - in FIG. A first folded part 1 and a second folded part 2 are formed by folding back towards the same direction. The width of the second folded part 2 is the width of the first folded part 1
It is set to be less than or equal to the width of . Then, the lower side is folded back from the bottom to the top and bent slightly downward in the middle, and then the tip is further folded back from the top to the bottom to form the first folded part 3 and the second folded part. 4 is formed. Similarly, the width of the second folded portion 4 is less than half the width of the first folded portion 3. At this time, the first

The face plates A shown above can be connected in the vertical direction as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. That is, from the lower part of the second folded part 2 on the upper side of the face plate A which has already been constructed, to the first folded part 3 and the second folded part 4 on the lower side of the face plate A to be constructed.
When the part is inserted, the state shown in FIG. 3 will be obtained.
At this time, the height of the tip of the first fold 1 on the upper side is l 1
Since the height l 2 of the tip of the first folded part 3 on the lower side was made to be slightly higher, the tip side of the first folded part 3 was pushed up slightly when it was fitted, and as shown in Fig. 3. In the fitted state shown, a downward elastic force is generated on the distal end side of the first folded portion 3.

If the upper face plate A is pulled down slightly from the state shown in Figure 3, the lower face plate A will appear as shown in Figure 4.
The second folded part 2 of the upper face plate A and the second folded part 4 of the upper face plate A are slightly different from each other, and are in an overlapping state. At this time, since a downward elastic force is generated on the distal end side of the first folded part 3, the first folded part 3
The tip side of is pressed against the upper surface of the lower face plate A,
In addition, the lower surface of the upper face plate A is also pressed against the first folded portion 1 of the lower face plate A.

When the face plates A are connected and constructed one after another as described above, when the face plate A expands due to thermal expansion, the second folded part 2 of the lower face plate A and the second folded part of the upper face plate A are As the discrepancy with 4 becomes larger and larger, the connection becomes stronger and stronger. In addition, the height l 2 of the first folded part 3 is made slightly higher than the height l 1 of the tip of the first folded part 1, and the middle of the first folded part 3 is slightly bent downward. Therefore, after the connection, a strong downward elastic force is generated in the first folded part 3, and the tip side of the first folded part 3 is pressed against the upper surface of the lower face plate A, and the upper face plate The lower surface of A is also pressed against the first folded portion 1 of the face plate A, and it is possible to prevent rainwater from entering due to capillary action or the like at these two points.

An insertion piece 5 is provided on the right side edge of the face plate A, with no folded portions provided on the upper and lower edges. The insertion piece 5 is made to have a slightly narrower width on the tip side. The left side edge of the face plate A is first folded back to the back side and then horizontally folded back toward the side edge to form a first folded part 6 and a second folded part 7.
The folded portion 7 is largely wider than the first folded portion 6. Then, the left end edge of the second folded portion 7 is folded back slightly towards the front side to form a folded piece 8. Further, a tongue piece 9 is formed on the upper side of the second folded part 7, and the tongue piece 9 is folded back from above to the bottom so as to cover the first folded part 1 above.

The construction shown above will be carried out as follows. First, place the back plate B on the back surface of the face plate A so that the left end of the right side face plate A is approximately in the center of the back plate B, and insert the lower end of the back plate B. Next, the second
Fit the lower end of the backing plate B between the edges above the folded part 4, and while fitting the folded piece 11 of the backing plate B into the gap formed above the first folded part 3 of the face plate A, Move the face plate A to the right side, and insert the insertion piece 5 of the left face plate A into the first part on the left end of the right face plate A.
It is inserted between the folded part 6 and the second folded part 7.
Then, after fitting the folded part at the lower end of the connected parts in the above manner from the lower gap of the second folded part 2 formed above the lower face plate A, which has already been constructed, shift it slightly downward. , the state shown in FIG. 5 is reached, but at this time, the connecting portion between the upper face plate A and the lower face plate A is as shown in FIG. The structure of the connecting portions of each member will be clear from FIG. 6, which is an end view of FIG. 5, and FIG. 7, which is a sectional view.

As described above, construction is carried out while alternating the joint parts, but when construction is performed in this way, the first folded part 6 and the second folded part 7 formed at the left end of the right side face plate A. This is a simple structure in which the insertion piece 5 of the left side face plate A is inserted between the two, and the upper surface of the inserted insertion piece 5 of the left side face plate A and the lower surface of the first folded part 6 are in close contact with each other.
Rainwater is difficult to infiltrate. For example, even if it enters, it flows down from above the insertion piece 5 onto the second folded part 7, and the flow from above the second folded part 7 is blocked by the folded piece 8, and flows down on the second folded part 7, and the lower part Flows down to face plate A.

Furthermore, even if it were to overflow on the folded piece 8, it would fall onto the backing plate B, flow down inside the concave and convex portion of the unevenness on the backing plate B, and flow down onto the lower face plate A. In this case, the length of the backing plate B is longer than the face plate A, and the folded piece 10 above the backing plate B is located above the first folded portion 1 of the face plate A. For this reason, when the rainfall is large, rainwater accumulates on the backing plate B.
Even if the water accumulated due to the capillary phenomenon at the overlapping part of the folded part 1 and the backing plate B rises, rainwater hardly rises to the folded piece 10 because the folded piece 10 is far above. In case of folding piece 1
Even if the rainwater rises to 0, the rainwater is returned by this folding and almost never goes around to the back side of the backing plate B. Since the backing plate B is sufficiently wide, it is unlikely that rainwater will reach the edge of the backing plate B. However, even if it does reach the edge, the folding of both edges of the backing plate B The pieces 10, 10 prevent the backing plate B from falling from both edges. Therefore, water leakage can be completely prevented. Moreover, the backing plate B is simply disposed on the back surface of the face plate A, and the work of inserting and engaging the backing plate is not required during construction, unlike the conventional method, so that construction is easy.

Although one embodiment of this invention has been shown above, the embodiment of this invention is not limited to the above. For example, the second folded portion 7 formed on one side edge of the face plate A may be curved in the shape of a gutter, or may be formed with unevenness in the vertical direction. In addition, although the face plate A and the backing plate B are shown as separate pieces, one side edge of the face plate A is connected to the backing plate B.
The face plate A and the backing plate B may be integrally attached by spot welding or the like at a position in the middle. When installed in one piece, on-site construction can be carried out quickly and easily.

As is clear from the above, when constructing the roof or exterior wall of a building using the architectural face plate and backing plate according to this invention, the face plate A
The upper surface of the insertion piece 5 is in close contact with the lower surface of the first folded part 6 of the adjacent face plate A, so there is almost no water leakage, but even if water leaks, rainwater will flow from the top of the insertion piece 5 to the second folded part 7. Since the water flows down over the second folded portion 7 and onto the lower face plate A, water leakage into the interior can be prevented. In addition, in the event that an overflow occurs from the edge of the second folded part 7, it will flow down onto the backing plate B, flow down inside the recessed part of the vertical unevenness formed on the backing plate B, and flow down onto the lower face plate A. flows down to. Therefore, water leakage can be completely prevented.

[Effects of the invention] The present invention forms an engaging portion that is folded back from above toward the bottom on the upper edge of the face plate, and an engagement portion that is folded back from below toward the top on the lower edge of the face plate. A pair of vertically adjacent face plates has an engaging part on the upper edge and an engaging part on the lower edge thereof forming a joint part, and one of the left and right side edges of the face plate has this. The side edge is folded back toward the back side to form a first folded part, and the tip of this first folded part is folded back toward the side edge to form a second folded part wider than the first folded part, and the left and right sides are further folded. An insertion piece is formed on the other side of the edge, and the insertion pieces of a pair of left and right adjacent face plates are inserted between the first folded part and the second folded part,
A backing plate is provided on the back surface of the face plate corresponding to this insertion point, and this backing plate is formed to be longer than the face plate in the vertical direction, wide in left and right width, and has unevenness in the vertical direction. On the lower edge of the plate, a folded piece is formed from the bottom upward, and on the upper edge and left and right side edges, folded pieces are formed that are folded back toward the surface side, and a backing plate is formed. Surround the upper, left, and right peripheral edges with folded pieces, and insert the folded pieces on the lower edge of the backing plate into the engagement portion on the lower edge side of the face plate, and fold back the upper edge of the backing plate. By positioning the piece above the upper edge of the face plate, and by contacting the folded pieces on the left and right side edges of the backing plate with the back side of the face plate, it is possible to almost completely prevent water leakage from the joint, and improve the structure and structure. It is possible to provide a device for combining an architectural face plate and a backing plate that is relatively easy to construct.
