される。このため、レフイールには通気孔が設け
られるが、通常はこの通気孔はレフイールの先端
近傍に設けられる。これは、キヤツプを被嵌して
衣服のポケツトに装着したときに、ペン体が上向
き姿勢となるため、通気孔を中綿より上方にして
インキが通気孔より流出しないようにするためで
ある。これに対して、キヤツプレスのノツク式筆
記具にレフイールを使用するときは、ポケツトに
装着したときにペン体が下向き姿勢となるため
に、通気孔を先端部に設けたのでは、これよりイ
ンキが流出してしまうので尾端部に設ける必要が
ある。そして、尾端部には中綿が収容されている
ので、先端部と異つてレフイールの尾端部に直接
通気孔を穿孔したのではこれよりインキが簡単に
流出してしまう。また、筆記具本体の軸筒内面と
レフイール本体外面との隙間はわずかであり、も
しレフイール本体側面に通気孔を設けて、この通
気孔の出口よりインキが少しでも出るとこのイン
