A manual handling guide is provided, and the guide is placed at an upper non-handling position where the conveyance end of the stock transfer device communicates with the conveyance start end of the chain, and in a substantially horizontal direction with the conveyance start end of the chain. A grain culm guide device for manual handling of a reaping/harvesting machine, which is configured to have a lower handling position that can be crossed and moved upward, and can be selectively switched.
