徴とする土留板付擁壁としたものである。本発明
に係る土留板付擁壁はその全体が鉄筋入りのコン
クリートその他強固な材料で作られている。たて
壁1の背面には該たて壁に直交する如く控え壁2
が形成され、その控え壁2はたて壁1を保護する
構造のものであれば、その形状は問わないが、通
常は側面略L型形状もしくは略三角形状等のもの
が使用される。たて壁1の下部には、控え壁2の
底面2bよりも下方に延出する延出部1aを設
け、該延出部1aが擁壁の施工に際して基礎地盤
G中に埋設され該地盤と一体化されて土圧合力の
水平分力に抗して滑動防止が図られるとともに耐
震構造となるものである。またたて壁1には擁壁
背面に浸透、集中した水を排出するための水抜き
孔8を設ける。控え壁2の下部の基部寄り及び下
部先端部2a寄りのそれぞれには鉄筋通し穴9を
設ける。たて壁1の背後に該たて壁に平行(控え
壁2に直交)して設置する土留板4は土圧計算に
よりその大きさや厚みが決定され、該土留板の溝
5より下部が基礎地盤G中に埋設される。土留板
4に形成した一対の保持部材6は溝5を挟んで横
方向に向けて対向しており、該保持部材6には控
え壁2の下部先端部2aに形成したボルトナツト
締結用穴3及び鉄筋通し穴9にそれぞれ対応した
位置にボルトナツト締結用穴7及び鉄筋通し孔1

としたので、擁壁が地盤と一体化されて土圧等に
より受ける滑動に対する安定性が極めて高く、か
つ地震時における安定性も高く、基礎地盤の支持
力に対する安定性が増し、背面盛土と基礎地盤と
を含む全体としての安定性が極めて高いものが得
られる。また控え壁の下部先端部を該控え壁と直
交する土留板の保持部材及び溝に嵌合固着する構
造としたために、転倒に対する安定性も増すこと
となる。
