【考案の詳細な説明】
(産業上の利用分野)
本考案は、内燃機関の燃焼室内の圧力を検知し
電気信号に変換する圧力ピツクアツプを内蔵する

クアツプを内蔵したスパークプラグが種々考案さ
れ用いられているが、その従来例を第3図に示
し、同図イは要部を縦断した正面図で、同図ロは
該要部の拡大断面図である。同図イにおいて、1
は内部に中心電極2を貫装固定したセラミツク製
絶縁体であり、3は取付金具でプラグを気筒頭部
に装着する際のプラグレンチ嵌合部となる六角形
部3−1と、胴部3−2及びねじ部3−3からな
つており、絶縁体1を外周から固定支持してお
り、ねじ部3−3の先端に突設した外側電極4と
中心電極2の先端部2−1との間で火花間隙が形
成され、中心電極を高圧リード線に接続するため
絶縁体1の後端部には中心電極2に固着された高
圧端子5が固設されている。6は圧力ピツクアツ
プ部(圧力センサー)であり、第3図ロに示す要
部の拡大断面図において説明すると、それぞれ環
状の内部電極6−1、その上下に圧電素子6−
2,6−2′、更にその上下に金属座板6−3,6
−3′が積み重ねられてなる積層体が、環の内外を
絶縁体6−4,6−4′によつて覆われ、内部電極
6−1の端子脚6−5にリード線6−6が接続さ
れてなつている。取付金具3の胴部3−2の下端
面には環状の凹溝3−4が形成され、該凹溝3−
4外周の薄肉の側壁3−5に穿設した小孔3−6
に圧力ピツクアツプ部の端子脚6−5を絶縁して
挿通し、環状の上記圧力ピツクアツプ部6が凹溝
3−4内に収納され、上記薄肉の側壁3−5を内
方にかしめて固定されている。図中破線で示した

なされたもので、取付金具の胴部を大径部とその
下の小径部からなる構造とし、金属ケースによつ
て気密に被包された環状の金属被覆型圧力センサ
ーを、取付金具胴部の大径部の下端面及び小径部
側面に当接して嵌装し、圧力センサーの金属ケー
スの外周上端縁を取付金具胴部の大径部外周の下
端部にはんだ等の低融点金属で接合、あるいは圧
力センサーの外側に外側壁と底壁をもつ断面L形
状の環状の保持金具を嵌着して外側壁の上端縁部
を取付金具胴部の肩部の外周部にスポツトあるい
はシーム溶接することによつて、圧力センサーを
固着し、圧力センサーの金属ケースの内側壁と取
付金具胴部の小径部との間に耐熱性ゴムまたは中

の上下に圧電素子7−2,7−2′と、更にその上
下に金属座板7−3,7−3′が積み重ねられてな
る積層体が、内部電極7−1にリード線9の中心
導体が接続され、絶縁体7−5,7−5′を介し
て、環状の金属ケース7−6内に収蔵されてなる
ものである。取付金具胴部3−2は圧力センサー
のリード線9の導出孔3−7が穿設された大径部
3−2aとその下側の小径部3−2bとからなり、
小径部3−2bの外周には環状の凹溝3−8が形
成されている。凹溝3−8内には耐熱性ゴムまた
は中空の金属からなるOリング10を嵌入し、環
状の圧力センサー7がその上面及び内面をそれぞ
れ取付金具胴部の大径部3−2aの下端面3−9
及び小径部3−2bの外周に当接して嵌装され、
圧力センサー7の金属ケース7−6の外周上端縁
部が取付金具胴部の大径部3−2aの外周下端部
にはんだ等の低融点金属によつて接合され、第1
図イに示す如き圧力センサーがスパークプラグに
固着され一体化された構造となつている。なお、
この実施例では圧電素子は7−2,7−2′を重ね
たものが使用されているが、7−2だけの1層タ
イプとすることもでき、また外周部の絶縁体7−

銅ガスケツト等を用いることによつてシールされ
るので、完全に気密性を保つ圧力ピツクアツプ内
蔵式スパークプラグを提供できる。更に圧力ピツ
クアツプ部はあらかじめ別個に製造して、プラグ
に組込むので組立作業が簡易化され作業性を向上

て、取付金具の胴部が大経部とその下側の小径
部とからなり、金属ケースによつて気密に被包
された環状の金属被覆型圧力センサーがその上
面及び内面をそれぞれ上記胴部の大径部下端面
及び小径部の外周面に当接して固着され、圧力
センサーの金属ケースの内側壁と上記小径部と
の間がOリングにより密封されていることを特
徴とする圧力ピツクアツプ内蔵式スパークプラ
グ。 (2) 前記圧力センサーの固着が、圧力センサーの
金属被覆の外周上端縁を取付金具胴部の大径部
の下端面外周にはんだ等の低融点金属によつて
接合してなされている実用新案登録請求の範囲
第1項記載の圧力ピツクアツプ内蔵式スパーク
プラグ。 (3) 前記圧力センサーの固着が、外側壁と底壁を
もつ断面L形状の環状の保持金具を圧力センサ
ーの外側に嵌着し、該保持金具の外側壁の上部
端縁を取付金具胴部の肩部外周縁にスポツトあ
るいはシーム溶接することによつてなされてい
る実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項記載の圧力ピ
ツクアツプ内蔵式スパークプラグ。 (4) 前記Oリングが耐熱性ゴムまたは中空の金属
からなる実用新案登録請求の範囲第1項乃至第
3項のいずれかに記載の圧力ピツクアツプ内蔵
