くカテーテル先端部の異なる実施例の縦断面図、
第4図は第3図に示すカテーテルの先端の流出口
が詰まり縦スリツトが開いた状態を示す側面図で
ある。 1……心管、2……エラストマー管、4,9,
11……流出口、5……保護層、7……プラグ、
10……圧縮リング。

Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 外側の保護層が毒性に問題なく生体適合性
がありその下側にある層に比べて柔らかく弾性の
あるプラスチツクから成る一層又は複数層のエラ
ストマーから作られたカテーテル管とカテーテル
先端とを備え、植え込まれた又は体外の配量装置
により薬剤を血管内に長期間注入するための医用
カテーテルにおいて、薬剤のための流出口4がカ
テーテルの末端部に対し軸方向にずらして側面に
配置され、大量生産加工済みのカテーテル上に塗
布された外側の保護層5がヒドロゲルから成るこ
とを特徴とする医用カテーテル。 (2) ヒドロゲルとしてポリエチレングリコール
又は充填材を含まないポリシロキサンが用いられ
ることを特徴とする請求項1記載のカテーテル。 (3) カテーテルの末端部が、鋭角で斜めに切り
落とされていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2
記載のカテーテル。 (4) カテーテルの末端部がチタン、窒化チタン
、炭化チタン、熱分解炭素又はこれらの材料によ
り被覆されたプラスチツクから成り丸められた頭
部を備えた中空円筒形のプラグ7により閉ざされ
、側面の薬剤流出口9がプラグの中に設けられる
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のカテーテ
ル。 (5) 側面の流出口9が内側断面から外に向かつ
て円錐形に広がつていることを特徴とする請求項
4記載のカテーテル。 (6) 側面の流出口9を含むプラグ7の外面が顕
微鏡的に滑らかに研磨されていることを特徴とす
る請求項4又は5記載のカテーテル。 (7) プラグ7がX線を透過しない材料から成る
圧縮リング10によりカテーテル管2に結合され
ていることを特徴とする請求項4ないし6の一つ
に記載のカテーテル。 (8) カテーテル先端の弾性のあるプラスチツク
から成る部分が、主流出口4の詰まつた場合の薬
剤流出のための応急流出口として、補助的な縦ス
リツト状の側面の流出口11を有することを特徴
とする請求項1ないし7の一つに記載のカテーテ
ル。
