The present invention relates to a hair cosmetic that imparts suppleness, smoothness, and moisturizing feel to hair and improves combability. Hair cosmetics that have a so-called rinsing effect, which gives suppleness, smoothness, and moisturizing to the hair and improves combability, include products with names such as hair rinse, hair treatment, and hair conditioner. It is commercially available. These hair cosmetics mainly contain quaternary ammonium salts, which are adsorbed into the hair and exert the so-called rinsing effect mentioned above, but they also provide suppleness and smoothness after use. For the purpose of further improving the sensation, natural extracts such as lanolin, lecithin, and aloe may be used. In particular, attempts have been made to incorporate lecithin into various hair cosmetics because of its excellent after-use feel, but there have been problems with the stability of the system. In other words, lecithin is particularly susceptible to hydrolysis in alkaline conditions, and is easily assimilated by microorganisms in neutral conditions.
Efforts were being made to lower the pH. However, in this case, when a large amount of organic acid is blended, a complex with the quaternary ammonium salt is formed and precipitates as an insoluble substance, making it impossible to obtain a stable system. The present invention was discovered against the above background, and aims to provide a hair cosmetic in which lecithin is stably incorporated into the system and which provides an excellent feel after use. That is, the present invention contains a quaternary ammonium salt, lecithin, and a higher fatty acid as essential components, and the blending ratio (weight ratio) of the quaternary ammonium salt/higher fatty acid is 30/70 to 95/5 (weight ratio). )
The hair cosmetic is characterized in that the PH of the system is 2.5 to 4.5. Hereinafter, the hair cosmetic of the present invention will be explained in more detail. The quaternary ammonium salt used in the present invention is represented by the following general formula. (In the formula, R 1 is an alkyl group having 14 to 22 carbon atoms or a benzyl group, R 2 is a methyl group or a carbon number 14 to 22
R 3 and R 4 are alkyl groups or hydroxyalkyl groups having 1 to 3 carbon atoms, and x represents a halogen atom or a methyl sulfate residue. ) Among the quaternary ammonium salts represented by the above general formula, stearyltrimethylammonium chloride, behenyltrimethylammonium chloride, stearylbenzyldimethylammonium chloride, distearyldimethylammonium chloride, etc. are particularly preferred. These quaternary ammonium salts may be incorporated into the hair cosmetic of the present invention either alone or in combination of two or more. The blending amount is 0.1 to 15% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 10% by weight of the total amount of the hair cosmetic composition of the present invention. The lecithin used in the present invention is egg yolk lecithin, soybean lecithin, or hydrogenated lecithin thereof. The blending amount is based on the total amount of the hair cosmetic of the present invention.
It is 0.1 to 5% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 3% by weight. If the amount of both the quaternary ammonium salt and lecithin is less than the above-mentioned limited amount, the hair rinsing effect will not be achieved, and if the amount exceeds the limited amount, the system may become unstable or the product may feel sticky when used. It has become something that is not desirable. The higher fatty acids used in the present invention have 12 to 12 carbon atoms.
There are 22 straight chain, branched, saturated and unsaturated fatty acids. Examples of the above-mentioned higher fatty acids include lauric acid,
Mention may be made of stearic acid, behenic acid, oleic acid and isostearic acid. One or more of these may be selected and used, and the blending amount is based on the total amount of the hair cosmetic of the present invention.
It is 0.1 to 7% by weight. If it is less than 0.1% by weight, the effects of the present invention will not be exhibited, and if it exceeds 7% by weight, the hardness of the system will increase too much, making it unsuitable for use. In addition, quaternary ammonium salts/higher fatty acids
When it is less than 30/70, or when the pH of the system is lower than 2.5, it becomes difficult to comb and the moisturizing feeling is lost, and the quaternary ammonium salt/higher fatty acid
When it exceeds 95/5 or when the pH of the system is higher than 4.5, stability is lacking and both are not preferred. The role of higher fatty acids in the present invention is to lower the pH of the system in order to prevent hydrolysis and assimilation of lecithin. At the same time, the combination of quaternary ammonium salt and lecithin provides good usability and
In particular, it is intended to impart smoothness to hair. Although the details of this mechanism of action have not yet been clarified, the three effects of the adsorption effect of quaternary ammonium salts as cations, the moisturizing effect of lecithin, and the lubricating effect of higher fatty acids as oils work synergistically. It is thought that this is because of this. In the case of conventionally used organic acids, not only do they lead to the formation of insoluble substances, but also the synergistic effect described above due to the combination of quaternary ammonium salt and lecithin cannot be expected. Note that it is possible to use higher fatty acids and conventional organic acids in combination within a range that does not impair the stability and usability of the system. Also,
In the hair cosmetic composition of the present invention, in addition to the above-mentioned essential ingredients, it is also possible to incorporate ingredients and additives commonly used in hair cosmetic compositions. That is, higher alcohols, silicone oils, oils such as liquid paraffin, humectants such as propylene glycol and glycerin, methyl cellulose, hydroxyethyl cellulose,
Water-soluble polymers such as cationized cellulose derivatives,
Nonionic surfactants such as POE hydrogenated castor oil and POE alkyl ether, inorganic salts such as sodium chloride and potassium chloride, coloring agents, fragrances, and the like can be appropriately incorporated within the range that does not impair the effects of the present invention. Next, examples will be given to concretely demonstrate the effects of the present invention. Examples 1 to 6, Comparative Examples 1 to 5 Hair cosmetics having the compositions shown in Table 1 were prepared, and their stability and usability (combability, smoothness of hair after use, and moisturizing feeling) were evaluated. . Among the evaluation items, stability was evaluated by observing samples stored at 0°C for one month, and rated as ○ if no insoluble matter was observed, △ if a small amount was observed, and × if a large amount was observed. In addition, combability, smoothness, and moisturizing feeling were evaluated by 10 female panels by applying 12 g of the sample directly to the hair, rinsing with warm water, air drying, and sensory evaluation. If the combability, smoothness, and moisturizing feeling were extremely good, the product was evaluated as ◎, if it was good, it was evaluated as ○, if it was fair, it was evaluated as △, and if it was poor, it was evaluated as ×. The evaluation results were as shown in the lower part of Table 1. As is clear from Table 1, those using organic acids (Comparative Examples 1, 2, and 3) have poor stability, but the use of higher fatty acids improves stability and improves usability. This also means that a good product can be obtained. Furthermore, even if higher fatty acids are used, if the pH of the system or the blending ratio of higher fatty acids is outside the range of the present invention (Comparative Examples 4 and 5), it is found that stability, moisturizing feeling, etc. are lacking.
