からシリンダジヤケツト3内に冷却水をウオータ
ポンプ12で圧送してシリンダ1を水冷するよう
にした直列多気筒エンジンの水冷装置において、 シリンダジヤケツト3は、分散促進室7と主冷
却室8とを区画壁6で区画して構成し、区画壁6
を前後方向に形成し、各シリンダ1の少なくとも
上部を主冷却室8で取り囲み、分散促進室7に上
記冷却水入口4を連通し、区画壁6の前後方向の
複数箇所に夫々通水孔10を空け、各通水孔10
で分散促進室7を主冷却室8に連通したことを特
