- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 電子写真方式により感光体上に静電潜像を形成
し、それを現像装置によつてトナー像に現像して
、該トナー像を用紙に転写する方式の複写機に備
えられた装置であつて、 前記用紙を感光体へ供給するための用紙供給路
に設けられ、遅くとも前記静電潜像が現像装置に
より現像される前に、供給される用紙の幅を検出
できるようにされた用紙幅検出手段と、 前記感光体に対向し、かつ、前記現像装置の上
流側に設けられたブランクランプと、 前記用紙幅検出手段の出力に基づいて、前記ブ
ランクランプの点灯幅を制御する制御手段と、 を含むことを特徴とするブランクランプ制御装
置。
