この考案は、騒音を低減させるための燃料噴射

(従来の技術)
従来、このガバナカバーは、アルミをダイカス

いる。このような欠点を改良する手段として、例
えば、日本鋼管技報No.105(1984年)の刊行物に示
されているように、所定の温度領域で制振効果
(振動減衰)を発揮する1枚の樹脂シートを鋼板
の間に挾んで構成した制振鋼板を用いてカバーを
作り、騒音の低減効果を高めるようにすること等

装置用のガバナカバーとして用いる場合は、常温
時又は高温時のいずれかで振動に伴う騒音が低減

ポンプ1が示され、ポンプ本体2には、燃料噴射
のための装置(図示せず)が組込まれ、外部に噴
射管と接続の継手3がその上方に複数設けられて
いる。このポンプ本体2には、噴射量制御の目的
のためのガバナ(図示せず)がその一方に設けら
れ、回転数やコントロールレバーの位置により噴
射量が制御される。このガバナはガバナカバー4
により包まれて、防塵や防音効果をはかつてい
る。このガバナカバー4は、所望の凹部形状で、
周縁にフランジ5を有し、この部分に燃料噴射ポ
ンプ本体2に取付けるためのねじ孔が形成され、
該ねじ孔を介してねじ6にてガバナカバー4は本

れ、隣合う鋼板7又は樹脂8a,8bは、圧着、
糊着、その他の接合手段により接着されているも
のである。尚、樹脂シート8a,8bは、その振
動減衰が樹脂の材質や厚み、周波数等にも依存す
