本考案は鋳造、鍛造等により形成される機械部

る。しかし、中空部分を有する機械部材の場合に
は、上記処理によつても中空部内に付着した砂及
び切粉等を完全に除去することは困難であつた。
また、除去を完全にするためには膨大な設備を必
要とし、かつ、その場合でも完全な除去は事実上

ばよいが、この中空部分は上記機械部材にとり構

果を得ることができ、かつ防振、電気絶縁が可能

以下、本考案を好適な一実施例を示す図面を用

仕切部3によつて使用面1aの裏面には図示の如
く複数の中空部分4が形成されている。また、第
2図A,Bに示す如く側面2と仕切部3の端部に
は所定幅のフランジ部5が一体に形成されてい
て、このフランジ部5によつて中空部分4が袋状

て形成される袋状の部分にウレタンフオーム、発
泡スチロール等の発泡剤と硬化剤を配合して成る
充填剤6を充填させ、この充填剤6によつて袋状
部分に付着している砂、切粉等を密封した。これ
により、中空部分4に付着している砂、切粉等が
落下して定盤1の使用面1aに傷が付き精密機器
としての役割が損なわれる等の不利益を解消し

が得られ、かつ経年変化による劣化もほとんど無

材の軽量化が損なわれず、かつコストが安く済
む。更に、従来の中空部分にカバー等をネジ止め
する方法では、中空部分に無理な形状を強いる必
要があつたが、本考案では形状を変える必要がな
