【考案の詳細な説明】
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本考案は、清掃用モツプの改良に関する考案で

従来清掃用モツプは、１本の柄の上部にハンド
ルを設けたものが殆どであつた（実公昭56−
17003、同55−3971号）が、柄の長さが一定のた
め身長の低い者には使用し難いものであつたた
め、近年利用者の身長に応じて柄を伸縮できるよ
うにして清掃し易くしたものが考案されている
（実公昭55−37338号）。

しかしながら、柄の長さを調節することが出来
たとしてもモツプで床面を清掃する場合には、モ
ツプを自由に動かせるようにするためモツプのハ
ンドルを強く握つて行うのではなく、一方の手で
柄の中間部分を握りモツプ本体部を床面に押すよ
うにし、他方の手でハンドルの上部を押したり引
いたりしながら清掃作業を行うものである。その
ため、柄の長さを調節しただけでは柄の中間部分
を握つた手が自由に動かせないのでモツプ部分に
力をかけることが出来ず、モツプ本体が単に床面
をなするだけにすぎず床面の汚れを完全に落とす
ことは難しいものであつた。
