Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the invasion of dust to valve seat faces by forming the tube end opposed faces of a pair of tube parts into valve seat faces, disposing a valve body between both valve seat faces and fitting a filter covering a gap between the valve seat faces and the valve body, thus accumulating dust on the filter. CONSTITUTION:Ring valve seat frames 5a, 5b are fitted at the opposed end parts in the valve casing 1 of a pair of tube parts 3a, 3b, and the end faces are made valve seat faces 6a, 6b. A valve body 11 vertical to the axis of the tube parts is hung between both valve seat faces by a hanging member 12 so as to be provided movably, and seal packings 18 are mounted at both faces of the valve body 11. Switching is performed by moving the releasing part 16 and the blocking part 17 of the valve body 11. A filter 20 formed of a brush covering the gap between the valve body 11 and the valve seat faces 6a, 6b is fixed at the inner periphery of the releasing part 16 by means of a fitting plate 19. Dust in gas is accumulated on the filter 20 at the valve open time and does not therefore invade the valve seat faces. The valve seat faces are also cleaned by the brush at the time of switching.

Conventional technology Goggle valves are mainly used to open and close relatively large-diameter gas pipes that contain harmful gases and large amounts of dust, such as blast furnace gas. A gap is provided between the end portions, and the opposing end surface is used as a valve seat surface, and between the valve seat surfaces, an open portion and a closed portion are arranged in parallel in the direction of movement. A formed valve body is disposed, and the valve seat surface of one pipe portion is movable to tighten the valve body, thereby completely eliminating gas leakage.

In order to prevent dust from adhering to the valve seat surface of such goggle valves, which may cause malfunction or gas leakage,
For example, Japanese Unexamined Patent Application Publication No. 51-42004 discloses purging the valve seat surface with N2 gas;
Japanese Patent No. 3917 discloses that a dust scraper provided on the valve body removes dust when the valve body is operated.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention However, the method of purging with N2 gas has the problem that the blowing effect of N2 gas is not uniform, and dust can enter into areas where it is not effective. There is a problem in that it does not prevent the problem itself, and it is difficult to obtain sufficient effects.

Means for Solving the Problems In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides a valve by providing a gap between opposing ends of a pair of pipe parts forming a gas passage, and using the opposing ends as valve seat surfaces. In a goggle valve in which a valve element is disposed between the seating surfaces in a direction perpendicular to the axis of the pipe part and has an open part and a closed part formed in parallel in the direction of movement, the inside of the opposite end of the pipe part It is characterized in that a filter is attached to the periphery or the inner periphery of the open part of the valve body to cover the gap between the valve seat surface and the valve body.

Effect According to the above configuration, the gas passage side of the valve seat surface is covered with a filter, so even if dust contained in the gas accumulates on the inner surface of the pipe or the inner circumference of the open part of the valve body, the valve seat surface is covered with a filter. Since the dust will accumulate on this filter near the valve, the dust will not enter the valve seat surface.Furthermore, even if the valve seat surface is loosened during the opening/closing operation of the valve body, the dust will remain accumulated on the filter. This prevents dust from entering the gap between the valve seat surface and the valve body.

When gas flows through the gas passage 2 with the valve open, dust contained in the gas accumulates on the lower inner periphery of the pipe portions 3a, 3b and the valve seat frames 5a, 5b, but does not accumulate on the valve seat surfaces 6a, 6b. Since the inner periphery of the valve element 11 is covered with a filter 20, dust accumulates on the filter 20 and prevents the dust from entering the gap between them, thereby preventing the valve seat surfaces 6a, 6b from entering. No dust will adhere to the surface.

Further, when the valve body 11 is opened and closed, the pressure on the valve seat frame 5b is released, but even at that time, the dust remains accumulated on the filter 20, and the dust remains on the valve body 11 and the valve seat surface 6a.

Dust does not enter into the gap formed between the valve body 1 and the filter 20 by a brush.
Regarding the opening/closing operation of step 1, this brush is used to clean the valve seat surfaces 6a and 6b.
Since the valve seat is cleaned, the valve seat surface can also be cleaned.

Effects of the Invention According to the dust intrusion prevention device for a goggle valve of the present invention, since the gas ventilation side end of the valve seat surface is covered with the filter as described above, dust contained in the gas is removed. Even if dust accumulates on the inner surface of the pipe or the inner periphery of the opening of the valve body, it will not accumulate on this filter near the valve seat surface and will not enter between the valve seat surface and the valve body, and furthermore, it will prevent the dust from entering between the valve seat surface and the valve body. Even if the tightening of the valve seat surface is released during the opening/closing operation, the dust will remain accumulated on the filter, and the dust will not enter the gap between the valve seat surface and the valve body, and the dust will not reach the valve seat surface. It has the great effect of reliably preventing adhesion.
