Abstract

PURPOSE:To separate and move a paper securely by installing a hopper in such a way that the forward end of papers is positioned under a center part of an aperture of a vacuum chamber, and stopping the head of lines of pores in a separation belt at the forward end part of the papers in operation, and controlling the chamber to attract the papers to a drive belt. CONSTITUTION:When the head of lines of pores provided in a separation belt 3 gets to the forward end part of papers 12 deposited in a hopper 19, a drive unit is stopped, and a vacuum chamber 5 attracts the uppermost one of the deposited papers 12 through the pores 4 in the separation belt 3. At this time, a current of compressed air from a main jet port 9 provided in a compressed air filled chamber 7 separates an upper part of the papers 12 deposited in the hopper, an up current of compressed air from an up jet port 10 collides with a front part of the separation belt 3 having no pores 4 to flow back, and flow between the attracted paper 12 and the paper 12 just under it is increased to separate the paper 12.

Conventional devices are disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open Nos. 11843-1983 and 1982-11843,
As described in JP-A-11844 and JP-A-62-11845, paper sheets are suctioned and adsorbed over the entire surface of a chamber controlled to negative pressure via a belt having a row of holes. The front end of the paper sheet was positioned forward from the end of the chamber. Moreover, in order to easily separate one sheet of paper, a part of the blowing nozzle that sends air toward the paper sheets is directed toward the front end of the paper sheets that are attracted to the belt.

Unlike the above-mentioned method of suctioning the topmost sheet, when separating the bottom sheet, the conventional device is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 62-931.
As described in Japanese Patent Application No. 30, the structure was the same as that of the conventional example in which the uppermost sheet is separated.

The above-mentioned conventional technology uses ribs provided between vertically divided belts and claws provided on the hopper to prevent problems such as double feeding of multiple sheets of paper and syspick, which fails to pick up paper sheets. etc., and no consideration was given to the fact that the reliability of the device would decrease depending on the rigidity and thickness of the paper sheets, and there were problems in separating a wide range of paper sheets, especially cardboard. In addition, the air flow rate from the blowout nozzle and the suction pressure of the chamber cannot be set independently.In other words, when the flow rate from the blowout nozzle is increased, the air from the blowout nozzle is removed from the front end of the paper sheet attracted to the chamber. There were problems such as inability to absorb and transport.

When the beginning of the row of holes provided in the separation belt reaches the leading edge of the paper sheets (hereinafter referred to as paper) accumulated in the hopper, the active device stops and the vacuum chamber moves through the holes in the separation belt to remove the accumulated paper sheets. Suction the top piece of paper. At this time, the compressed air flow from the main nozzle installed in the compressed air filling chamber separates the upper part of the paper stacked in the hopper, and the upward compressed air flow from the upward nozzle separates the portion in front of the separating belt without holes. The paper collides with the paper and flows backward, increasing the flow rate between the attracted paper and the paper directly below it, thereby separating the paper.

The adsorption of the paper onto the separation belt is zero and continues until the separation belt is driven again and the adsorbed paper moves to a position where it is no longer affected by the upward compressed air flow of the auxiliary jet. When the paper is attracted to the separation belt and conveyed, the hopper lifting device pushes up the hopper and places the top surface of the paper in a fixed position.

FIG. 3 shows a state in which the upper part of the paper sheets 12 stacked in the hopper 19 is being spread by the air flow from each of the ejection ports 9, 10.11. When the paper 12 is separated and floated, the topmost paper is sucked through the opening 4 by the negative pressure of the vacuum chamber 5 . FIG. 4 shows the state immediately after the separation belt 3 is rotated. FIG. 5 shows the state when the one-separation belt 3 rotates further. In the state of the paper and the separation belt shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the paper 12 is not attracted to the separation belt 3 in the part of the separation belt 3 where no holes 4 are present between the pitches of the holes 4, so that the paper 12 is ejected upward. A portion of the airflow from outlet 10 enters. Therefore, the amount of air flowing between the paper adsorbed by the separation belt 3 and the paper directly below it is reduced, and the air layer is in a thin state.

FIG. 7 shows the state when the separation belt 3 rotates and the aperture 4 reaches the paper 12 in the hopper 19 again. When the aperture 4 reaches the vacuum chamber 5, the topmost sheet of paper is lifted up, but until the front edge of the sheet is sucked, 1
Since an air layer is formed between the separation belt 3 and the lifted paper, the paper and the separation belt 3 are slipping. That is, the paper remains in place within the hopper.

According to the present invention, in the vacuum adsorption separation device, the head of the perforation row of the separation belt stops at the leading end of the accumulated paper sheets;
The vacuum chamber adsorbs the top sheet of paper onto the separation belt, while the main nozzle of the compressed air chamber sends compressed air from the top edge of the paper to separate the paper and assist. Since the nozzle blows air upward into the part of the separation belt that has no holes in front of the row of holes, a large air layer is created between the sheets that are attracted to the separation belt and the sheets directly below it. This has the effect of reliably separating and moving paper sheets one by one.
