【考案の詳細な説明】
本考案は農林作業用鎌の改良に関するものであ
る。この種の鎌は大別して片刃鎌と両刃鎌の二種
類がある。鋭角な刃先の構造をもつ片刃鎌は草や
極く小さな雑木等の下刈に適しているが、大きな
雑木の切断には適していない。一刀両断に切断で
きない場合切込口に刃先を挟み込み、刃物を切口
から引抜くことが容易でなく無理に抉るとしばし
ば刃先の破損の原因となつていた。従つて大きな
雑木の切断には鈍角な刃先の構造をもつ両刃鎌が
適していた。本案は片刃鎌と両刃鎌の特徴を兼ね
そなえた鎌を提供するところにその目的を有する
