な問題を解消するのに、実開昭54−36321号公報
及び実開昭53−67318号公報のものが堤案されて
いるが、これらのものにおいては、防水及びその
施工性に問題を残すものであった。

ある。3は金属屋根板や石綿セメント板のような
屋根板であつて、棟桟4に突き合わすようにして
屋根下地板1上に葺設されてある。このとき上ル
ーフイング11の端部は屋根板3に巻き込まれて
押え付けられるものであり、したがつて棟桟4へ
の雨水の侵入が防げる。5は棟桟4の角部と屋根
板3の棟側の端部との間に打たれるコーキング材
であつて、棟桟4と屋根板3との間からの雨水の
浸入が防げる。棟瓦2の両側の下端は屋根板3上
に載置されてある。棟瓦2を棟部分に固定するに
は棟瓦2に釘孔12を穿孔し、銅釘のような棟瓦
固定釘8を釘孔12に通して棟桟4に打ち込むの
である。13は棟瓦固定釘8の頭と棟瓦2との間

部を突き合わせて屋根下地板に葺設し、屋根板の
突き合わせ端部と棟桟との間の箇所にコーキング
材を充填し、棟部の屋根板および棟桟を覆う棟瓦
がその釘孔から挿通されて棟桟をへて屋根下地板
に至る棟瓦固定釘にて取設したので、棟桟と屋根
板との間に大きな隙間が形成されることがなく、
したがつてコーキング材はこの隙間に少量で且つ
確実に充填できて雨仕舞に優れ、また棟桟は屋根
下地板に直付けされるので、取付性がよく、しか
も受金具も不要になり、特に棟瓦の下方において
は、左右の屋根下地板上に敷かれるルーフイング
と左右の棟桟を覆う上ルーフイングとによる2重
の防水構成がなされて、充分な防水効果が得られ
るとともに、このような2枚のルーフイングの固
定は棟瓦を固定する棟瓦固定釘にて行え、かつ棟
桟の固定も行え、その固定構成を簡素化できると
いう利点がある。
