前記従来の防蝕装置においては、この製造上の誤差がフ
ランジ間のシール性や保護カバーの締付けに問題を生じ
ていた。すなわち、杭径が大で保護カバーの内周長が小
であると、ガスケットの圧縮度が小となり、極端な場合
はガスケットの締付力不足によりフランジ間のシール性
がなくなることがあり、逆に杭径が小で保護カバーの内
周長が大の場合は、ガスケットが十分押圧されてフラン
ジ間のシール性は問題がないが、保護カバーと防蝕テー
プ間の押圧力が不足しこの部分のシール性に問題があっ

ジ部の左右が非対称であるのでガスケットと舌状片の端
部側とのシールが万全でなく、特に杭径が小サイズであ
るときシール性の低下の度合が大きかった。またこのも

防蝕装置において、被防蝕体表面に巻回した前記防蝕層
上にプレートを固定し、該プレート上に前記緊締用フラ
ンジが密接するように保護カバーを配置したもので、防
蝕テープ上に接着固定したプレート表面をフランジ部の
緊締時その内端面が、フランジ部とプレート間のシール
