Abstract

PURPOSE:To perfect sealing property by fixing a plate to a corrosion-protecting layer formed by winding on a corrosion-protected body surface, and disposing a protecting cover in such a manner that a fastening flange is closely adhered on the plate. CONSTITUTION:A viscous corrosion-protecting tape 3 is wound on the corrosion- protecting area 2 of a cylindrical steel pipe pile 1, and two circular plates 4 having the respective both end parts tapered and a diameter according to the pipe diameter are adhered on the surface of the tape 3 at equal intervals. Then, a pair of protecting covers 5 having flanges 6 formed on the respective both ends are fitted to the tape 3 having the plates 4 adhered thereon, with the flanges 6, 6 being opposed to each other. When the flanges 6, 6, are situated on the center of each plate 4 and fastened with bolts 7, the plate 4 is slit on the flange inner end surface 6a while being pressed thereto. Thus, the sealing property between the flange 6 and the plate 4 can be maintained.

Traditionally, in steel pipe shafts and reinforced concrete piles installed in ports, etc., in order to protect the parts that are particularly susceptible to corrosion and damage from floating objects on the sea surface, etc., As shown in Figure 5, a corrosion-resistant tape 02 such as petrolatum tape is wrapped around it, and fiber reinforced plastic (FR) is wrapped around it.
A protective cover 03 divided into one or more parts made of P) etc. was attached, and the corresponding flanges 04 provided at both ends of the protective cover 03 were tightened to fix the protective cover 03 on the corrosion-resistant tape 02.

The structure of the flange part is usually such that a gasket 05 is interposed between the flanges 04, and a bolt 06 is inserted and tightened (Fig. 5 (a)). There is also one in which a tongue-like piece 03a is formed by extending along the inner end surface of the gasket (FIG. 2(b)).
Alternatively, there was a method in which a protrusion 02a was formed on a part of the corrosion-resistant tape 02 without using a gasket, and this protrusion 02a was interposed between the flanges 04 to provide the same function as a gasket. Figure (C)).

In the conventional corrosion protection device, this manufacturing error caused problems in the sealing between the flanges and in the tightening of the protective cover. In other words, if the pile diameter is large and the inner circumference of the protective cover is small, the degree of compression of the gasket will be small, and in extreme cases, the sealing performance between the flanges may be lost due to insufficient tightening force of the gasket, and vice versa. If the pile diameter is small and the inner circumference of the protective cover is large, the gasket will be pressed sufficiently and there will be no problem in sealing between the flanges, but the pressing force between the protective cover and the anti-corrosion tape will be insufficient. There was a problem with sealing.

When the above-mentioned drawbacks occurred, the workability during construction was poor, as it became necessary to adjust the thickness of the gasket or, in some cases, prepare a new protective cover to fit the pile.

In addition, when a tongue-like piece is formed on one flange as shown in Fig. 5(b), when a problem arises in the sealing between the flanges as described above, the tongue-like piece is attached to the inside of the gasket. However, since the left and right sides of the flange are asymmetrical, the seal between the gasket and the end of the tongue is not perfect, especially when the pile diameter is small. The degree of decline was large. In addition, the structure of the protective cover of this product was complicated and manufacturing was troublesome.

Furthermore, the corrosion-resistant tape shown in FIG. 5(c) in which a protruding portion was formed in a part did not only complicate the structure of the tape, but also did not eliminate the above-mentioned drawbacks.

Furthermore, in the case where the inner surface of the protective cover shown in Fig. 5(d) is lined with foam, the seal between the protective cover and the anti-corrosion tape is compensated to some extent by the presence of the foam, but the protective cover is tightened to the stake. When doing so, the end of the flange does not easily slide due to contact with the foam, and there is a risk that the foam may peel off or deform.

From what has been described above, conventional corrosion protection devices require careful attention during construction and have the disadvantage of making construction management difficult.

The present invention aims to overcome the above-mentioned difficulties and to provide a corrosion-proofing device that has a simple structure and can perform complete sealing, by attaching a corrosion-proofing layer to the corrosion-protected area of the object to be corrosion-protected, and covering the surface of the corrosion-proofing layer. In a corrosion protection device such as a pile to which a protective cover having a tightening flange is attached, a plate is fixed on the corrosion protection layer wound around the surface of the object to be corroded, and the protective cover is arranged so that the tightening flange is in close contact with the plate. When the flange portion is tightened on the plate surface adhesively fixed on the corrosion-resistant tape, the inner end surface slides while maintaining the seal between the flange portion and the plate.

1 is a cylindrical steel pipe pile installed in a port or the like, and 2 is a part of the pile that should be particularly protected from corrosion or damage, that is, a corrosion-protected area. An adhesive corrosion-resistant tape 3 is wound around this corrosion-protected area 2 as a corrosion-protective layer to protect the surface of the pile 1 in this area from corrosion so that seawater and the like do not enter.

Two arc-shaped plates 4 curved according to the diameter of the width and thickness are glued at equal intervals, and both ends 4a in the width direction of the plates 4 are tapered so that they are smooth with the tape 3 surface. is connected to. Further, the length of the plate 4 is formed to be somewhat longer than the protective cover 5, which will be described later. In addition, when a tape with weak adhesive force is used for the corrosion-resistant tape 3, an adhesive may be applied to the surface of the plate 4 in advance for adhesion.

A pair of semicircular arc-shaped protective covers 5 with flanges 6 formed at both ends are provided, and these protective covers 5 are placed over the corrosion-resistant tape 3 to which the plate 4 is adhered, with the flanges 6 at both ends facing each other. In the above-mentioned fitting, the opposing flanges 6, 6 are both located on the plate 4, and arranged so that their centers are located at the center of the plate 4, and when the flanges are tightened, the inner end surfaces 6a of the flanges, 6a is configured to slide on the plate 4 while being pressed against it.

Note that, as is clear from the above configuration, since the spaces between the corresponding flanges 6, 6 of the protective covers 5, 5 and the plate 4 are always sealed, it is necessary to interpose a sealing gasket 8 between the flanges 6, 6. Although there is no such thing (Fig. 3(a)), it may be inserted to be sure (Fig. 3(b)).

In the present invention, a plate is fixed to a corrosion-resistant layer wound around the surface of a corrosion-protected object, and a flange of a protective cover is disposed on this plate so as to be in close contact with the inner end surface of the flange when the protective cover is tightened. slides on the plate while pressing against it, so the seal between the flange and the plate is maintained, and even if there are variations in the diameter of the object to be corroded, such as a pile, or the dimensions of the protective cover, this error can be absorbed. The adjustment range can be widened.

In addition, since the flange does not directly slide on the corrosion-resistant layer, its sliding does not affect the placement of the corrosion-resistant layer, nor is it affected by the material of the corrosion-resistant layer, so it is suitable for joining plates. A good, highly adhesive corrosion-protective layer can be used, and the flanges slide on the plates so that tightening operations can be carried out easily with low forces.
