Conventionally, in a developing device, especially a dry developing device that uses a powder developer (hereinafter simply referred to as toner), a bag-shaped container, a bottle-shaped container, etc. are used as containers for supplying toner into the developing device. , various forms are known. These require opening the lid of the developing device, cutting the opening of the container bag, or removing the bottle cap, and pouring the toner into the developing device.

However, with the above-mentioned toner, there is a risk that the toner will scatter when poured and contaminate the operator's hands and clothes, or the inside of the main unit including the developing device.

As a container improved in this respect, there is a cartridge type developer storage container for supplying toner. This is, for example, a container as shown in FIG. 1. The container 1 has a toner supply opening 2, and after filling the container with toner, the opening 2 is covered with a sealing member 3 to allow the toner to be supplied into the container. It's sealed. This sealing member 3 is folded back after uniformly covering the opening 2, and extends long toward the front side (in the direction of the arrow) in the opening direction (FIG. 2). Such a container 1 is attached to a developing device, and an operator holds the end 3a of the sealing member protruding outside and pulls it out in the direction of the arrow to supply the toner inside the container into the developing device. FIG. 3 shows a state in which the sealing member 3 is peeled off from the container 1.

In this way, since the container 1 described above is configured so that the sealing member is peeled off after being attached to the developing device, when toner is supplied into the developing device, it is possible to easily and without scattering the toner to the outside. Toner can be supplied reliably.

However, even in such a container, the end 3a of the sealing member remains extended to the outside, so it may be damaged if the end of the sealing member is accidentally caught during assembly or packaging, or the sealing member may be damaged. There was a problem with workability as the material sometimes peeled off and got stuck.

To achieve the above object, the present invention provides a developer storage container for supplying developer into a developing device, which includes an opening for supplying the developer, and a sealing member that covers the opening and is removably adhered to the developer storage container. and one end of this sealing member is fixed, and the handle member serves as a handle for the sealing member when the sealing member is peeled off from the developer storage container. a handle member that can be detached from the container, and the handle member is inserted into the handle member support portion of the container so as to be removable in a direction in which the handle member is pulled in order to peel the seal member from the container. This is a developer storage container characterized by:

b is releasably adhered to the container 10 by heat sealing or the like, and after uniformly covering the toner supply opening 2, the sealing member is folded back so that the end portion 3a is elongated. The end portion 3a of the sealing member is bonded to a handle portion 5 integrally formed with the container 10.

A notch or the like is provided in the connecting portion 6 between the container 10 and the handle 5 so that the handle 5 can be broken off and separated from the container 10. In addition to the above-mentioned heat sealing means, various other methods such as adhesive, double-sided tape, or ultrasonic welding can be used as the means for adhering the sealing member. Further, as the material for the container, styrene resin is preferable from the viewpoint of ease of separating the container and handle portion, cost, etc.

FIG. 5, FIG. 6, and FIG. 7 show how such a container 10 is attached to a developing device and the sealing member is peeled off. That is, after attaching the container 10 to the developing device 4,
When feeding the toner in the container 10 into the developing device 4, the operator holds the handle 5 and breaks it off in the direction of arrow A to separate it from the container 10, and then pulls out the sheet member 3 together with the handle 5 in the direction of arrow B. Just do it. As a result, the toner is supplied from the container 10 into the developing container of the developing device 4. In this way, by molding the handle part 5 integrally with the container 10, costs can be reduced, and since the tip of the sealing member is glued to the handle part 5, it is easy to remove the sealing member. It is easy to operate, and there is no risk of damaging the seal member or accidentally peeling it off.

In the above-mentioned reference example, an example was shown in which the handle part was molded integrally with the container, but in this example, as shown in FIG. 9, the handle part 11 is made separate from the container 10,
A handle part 11 is inserted into a convex part 10a of a container 10. The end portion 3a of the sheet member is adhered to a recess 11a formed in the handle portion so as to correspond to the convex portion 10a of the container, and by pulling out the handle portion 11 in the direction of the arrow shown in the figure, the sheet member 3 is attached to the container. It is gradually peeled off from 10. (FIG. 10) In this way, since the direction in which the handle part 11 is pulled out from the convex part 10a of the container is the same as the direction in which the handle part 11 is pulled in order to peel the sheet member 3 from the container 10, the handle part 11 The operation of pulling out the sheet member from the convex portion 10a can be followed by the operation of peeling off the sheet member, and the operability can be significantly improved.

In addition, in the above-described embodiments, the handle part is made thicker to make it easier to hold, and the handle part is modified in various ways to improve the operability when pulling out the seal member.
