【発明の詳細な説明】
〔産業上の利用分野〕
本発明は、家畜に衣服を着用させることによって個体を
防護し、生長および維持機能を高めるようにした衣服に
よる家畜の防護方法に関するものである。

牛、馬などの家畜の飼育においては、暑熱による食欲低
下、風雨・寒冷感作による生長の低下や疾病の誘発、害
虫類による刺咬・吸血等が絶えず発生し、これらは家畜
の正常な発育を妨げ、生産性の減退を招くと共に、家畜
に刺痛やかゆみを与える伝染性疾病を伝播するなど、畜
産業に多大の損害を与えている。
下、風雨・寒冷感作による生長の低下や疾病の誘発、害
虫類による刺咬・吸血等が絶えず発生し、これらは家畜
の正常な発育を妨げ、生産性の減退を招くと共に、家畜
に刺痛やかゆみを与える伝染性疾病を伝播するなど、畜
産業に多大の損害を与えている。
個々の家畜に対する個体維持ならびに防虫対策としては
、畜舎や庇難舎の設置、害虫類に対して殺虫剤の直接家
畜体数布と薬剤の入った袋を家畜の出入口に吊り下げ、
家畜体に直接触れることによる薬剤付着（ダストバック
）方式がとられてきた。

しかし、畜舎や庇難舎について家畜の好適環境の作出は
経済性の点で困難であるため多くの場合、家畜の利用性
が低く、疾病、障害の発生も指摘されている。殺虫剤に

性の少ない薬剤に移行したため、継続的に飛来する害虫
に対して、防除効果が不確定であった。

また、上記衣服２には、速効性、遅効性の殺虫剤（ピレ
スロイド系、カーバメイト系、有機リン系）を浸潤させ
、繊維材料中に付着浸透させることにより害虫類を忌避
・誘殺すると共に、殺虫剤の除放性の向上と薬剤効果の
持続性が付与された。

上記衣服２を牛体ｌに着用させた試験結果を第１表ない
し第４表に示す。

第３表は害虫の行動習性を利用し、衣服内で誘殺した数

以上説明したように本発明の衣服による家畜の防護方法
によれば、以下の効果を奏することができる。

減少し、十分な休息と菜食行動の増加を図ることができ

- 家畜に衣服を着用させ、暑熱、風雨、寒冷感作から個体
を防護し、飛来または寄生する病害虫を忌避・誘殺する
