るギャップ可変機構付プリンタ装置に関し、
印字する印刷用紙に厚い部分がある場合における改行時
の改行乱れをなくし、カラー・インク・リボンのシフト
が容易にできるギャップ可変付プリンタ装置を得ること
を目的とし、
印字ヘッドと、当該印字ヘッドに印字を実行させると共
に、プリンタ装置を制御するCPUと、プログラムおよ
びデータを格納するメモリ手段と、前記印字ヘッドを駆
動する駆動手段と、を有するプリンタ装置においで、印
刷用紙と印字ヘッドとの間隔を変えることができるギャ
ップ・モータと、行頭における印字開始時には印刷用紙
と印字ヘッドとの間隔が狭められ、行端における印字終
了時には印刷用紙と印字ヘッドとの間隔が広げられるよ
う前記ギャップ・モータを制御するヘッド・ギャップ制
